Eyeshadow Primer '?'
Re: Eyeshadow Primer '?'
I like the GWP one from The She Space. I have dry skin, but my eyelids are dark. The primer comes in a dual wand tube - one side for regular primer, the other side for brightening - and it's the brightening I need.

Rhys-> LOL! Ok got it:)
Karen-> Ditto your theory about silicones being over-used. Everything I pick up has it on the top 10 list of ingredients. There is a controversy re the use of it. Some says that continued usage will result in dehydration but my friend who used to work in National Starch says that on the contrary, it helps in locking in moisture. Oh well, I think there will never be a confirmation.
My favourite primer? Gosh, I haven't tried that many to begin with. I've only tried the most traditional method of applying a cream based shadow and then top it off with powdered ones. I am trying out UDPP and though it made the shadows last on me, I am not sure about it retaining the brillancy of the shadows/pigments.
MAC bare canvas is good though its drying but that is discontinued. I've got soft ochre paint pot coming in so hopefully that will be a thumbs up:)

Oops I forgot to include in the Japanese brands of e/s primer that I'ved used.
Kanebo's Lunasol produce pretty good e/s primer but then it is shimmery and opaque? But cos their palettes are very shimmery I guess the base will suffice.

My vote is for fyrinnae. It actually only took 2 weeks to come in. I am extremely allergic to udpp. I looked like rocky balboa for a week (really bad) so I was scared to try anything else but I did finally try fyrinnae and it is great. I really love the stuff and the roll on applicator is really cool too.
Re: Eyeshadow Primer '?'
I think it's Too Faced that has one out now almost identical to UDPP, save it comes in a tube - so you don't lose half a jar of it (that UDPP bottle is a little unmanageable).
Re: Eyeshadow Primer '?'
It would be really neat if we had some eye shadow primers. I am currently searching for a good one to use...
But I don't really want to invest in UDPP because of the hefty price @_@ Quote
This is exactly my opinion. I would have to order online from Sephora and pay $10.00 just in shipping. I have a product now that works (Revlon Prime Radiance primer in a pot) but it is discontinued.
I know MMU companies have them. I prefer to buy from a company that I am already like dealing with.

My eyelids are wrinkled and drier-so I can't use udpp-it dries out my lids too much. Currently using sample from she space which I like but it's not opague enough. I have the Pure luxe eye primer sample on order. I need something that smooths out eye lids but help to keep eye shadow true. Janet.

I was just going to suggest this one, as well as 'Stifle' (I think that's what it's called? It's a grey-ish, taupe colour), although I didn't realize that the 'Bare Canvas' had been discontinued! Now I'll hunt for something else!MAC bare canvas is good though its drying but that is discontinued. I've got soft ochre paint pot coming in so hopefully that will be a thumbs up:)
It would be great if SN had a primer!

Hi,
I'm working on one...I've been using it off and on for about a couple of weeks (since Jen asked for it). New formulas are a big project- we have to do a lot of testing on them before we release them- mainly because I'm picky- and I want to be sure it's the best I can make it. Hopefully- if it tests well it will be part of the MOAC.

would love to try your primer when it comes... I've placed an order for Monistat but it hasn't come. My lids are kinda oily I think. Your e/s stay on but the other brand I tried ... well, lets just say migration happens.
