I was Golden Fair in EDM too and I LOVE reds because I love that 1950's pin up girl look, but I do wear muted reds a lot because I like them.
My favorites right now are:
- Dixie with either Blaze or Allure over it.
- Blaze over a nudish pink lip pencil
- Blaze by itself or over lip balm
- Temptation over a nudish pink lip pencil, the pink in the pencil pulls the color more to red vs. orange.
- CRIMSON over a nude lip pencil and blotted
- Crimson over lip balm.
I put the lip balm on first, do the rest of your make up while it sinks in, then put on the Crimson or whatever lipstick, then blot to mute the color a bit if it's a really BOLD color.
One thing I have learned about reds is that you can alter how they look using different color lip pencils under them or putting them on lightly over well moisturized lips so you can blend the color in.
