Reinforcement rings! or at least that's what I have, and they are clear. This is such a neat idea. I just tried this method, fits perfectly, and instead of poking holes (I'm lazy), I stick the ring in a way such that 2 holes are not covered. Thanks for sharing, ChristineLynnP!

I was thinking about that today. I placed my first order this morning and my first thought was 'I don't know if I'll ever be able to bring myself to order loose shadows again' - I know I'm in the minority but I am such a loose powder phobic and although I own pigments and different things in loose form, I have a really hard time using them over my pressed products.

That being said, I completely understand the reasoning behind not offering pressed form of anything and I think it's a very sensible decision seeing as the powder would lose of its intensity and the amount of product necessary to press them is too risky for us. I still can't help being shallow, hence my moaning here

Ok, I must admit. The sheer amount of loose mineral eyeshadows I had in pots was doing my head in. I've caved in and pressed them all with rubbing alcohol & EZ Press medium from Coastal Scents. Yes, the 'cones are not good, but I colour coordinate so much better with the pressed eyeshadows in palettes than everywhere in pots.

If at sometime it might be feasible, I'd definitely much prefer getting them pressed.

about microfibre clothes... I keep it under my brush heads in my brush roll. Makes it really easy to clean between colors or to keep.

as for pressing... I have pressed palattes but I find myself reaching for my little baggies a whole lot more. There's something fun about flipping the pages of my 'rainbow' and picking out the colors I feel like using.

frond- you should post a picture of your rainbow binder! They've seen my marker boards, and i think egerandi posted a photo of her pressed palettes at some point, but what about the binder?!?!? Your binder is too cool. I really should make one with the bajillion bag-samples i have in my house- and people think my jar collection is obscene- ha!

Oh, I would like to see that too! I used to press my shadows, but kinda gave up on it after a few bad results that especially hurt when I messed up LE shadows. When I travel now, I pack the already pressed ones in a 9 pan magnetic holder, but often just fill sample baggies and stash those away in my bag instead. The binder could solve my dilemma: sample bag the new shadows and bag the pans that hold the pressed shadows to have access to all my colors, because lately I've been reaching for only five or so...
This way, I could have everything neatly put away where I don't need to access it often, because the rainbow binder would have it all
