I am having such fun reading everybody's creations.

I'm doing a summer drink theme, a mixture of cocktails and just summery drinksl

Eyes:

Simple Syrup: the base for many a summer drink: Think the color of Shantung with a little bit of shimmer. It would make a good highlighter for just about any color.
Mojito: Light frosty mint green
Appletini: A bright Apple green with a very slight shimmer
Sweet Tea with Mint: Think of the gold/copper/brown of a perfectly brewed glass of ice tea, and add some green interface, Could be used as a crease color or a liner .

Cheeks: Raspberry Dacquari: Think a soft reddish/pink with slight shimmer. Not enought to give the disco ball look, but enought to give you a soft glow from within look.

Lips: Sangria: The perfect fruit punch color, similar in depth to Seedy, so that as it wears off you still have that stained look on your lips.

I don't think I can do a collection, but here are a few lippies I would love:

Siren - a sheer deep berry with gold shimmer - think berry nice with a little black oxide and the shimmer of, say, bobbi. (Did I mention I would love the love child of swank and berry nice  ?)

Polished - a sheer dark purple with the gold shimmer of precious (not so sheer that you can't see the purple though)

Juicy - a sheer bright tangerine. Not a light orange or a peach, but this colour:

In the same kind of sheer formula that berry nice and sweet nothing have.

i've been inspired by those ladies who have used TV/movies/musicals as the basis for their collections...normally i would have a hard time coming up with my own collection of colors, but i'm a big fan of 'glee' and thought it would be fun to base a collection on those characters...and some stuff started coming to mind...so here goes. (these are just my interpretations of the characters)...

Eyeshadows:
Puck: a smooth, velvety khaki green base with some shimmer
Finn: a nice greyish taupe (leans more grey) with a healthy dose of bronze shimmer/sparkle
Mr. Schue: Mid-tone light milk chocolate base color with bronze shimmer (lid color)
Artie: a deep caribbean/navy blue with green shimmer (liner color)
Kurt: Dark brown with a rainbow sparkle
Sue: Black with lots of silver sparkle (liner color)
Mercedes: Deeper cool purple with purple and fuschia shimmer
Ms. Pillsbury: reflective champagne highlighter shade with a little bit of grey/brown so it's not too light

Blush:
Rachel: perfect mix of browish pink with peach shimmer thrown in
Tina: deep matte pinky red

Glow:
Quinn: a true cool pink that leans heavily toward lavender

Lippies:
Brittany: a pink the color between bloom and very berry with plum pearl/shimmer
Santana: a crimson liquid gloss with fuschia and light pink sparkle
Glee: a clear watermelon or peach flavored BL lippie (i can't decide on which one :))

thanks MLH and karen, that was fun :)

Fun idea.

My suggestion:

The Diva Collection- not so much for every day wear, more geared for a big night out. Not for the faint of heart!

Débutante- A pearl golden eyeshadow with a purple sheen.

Celebrity- Black shadow/liner (rubs down to gray) with golden shimmer

Paparazzi- Deep purple eyeshadow with a rainbow to shimmer

Diva- cotton candy pink matte blush.

Starlet- Peach dusting powder, golden shimmer. Very notice-me.

This is my THIRD attempt to post this. GRRRRRR....

I would base my collection off of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. I love those books, and she has a new one coming out on June 22.

Stephanie Plum - I have to go with a plum base for this eye shadow because of her name, but I would spice it up with orange and red shimmer (to stand for all of the cars she has had blown up).

Grandma Mazur - For a grandma, this is one spunky lady! I would start with a simple nude colored base that doesn't look like much to start with, but I would add a ton of rainbow colored sparkles for her wild side! The could be an eye shadow or a fun highlight for the cheekbones.

Lula - Lula is bold, bright, and over-the-top. She needs a super glossy fuchsia lip gloss to go with her technicolor outfits.

Joe Morelli - Stephanie's love interest has eyes like melted chocolate, so this eye shadow should be a chocolate color with sheen (think chocolate ganache).

Ranger - Ranger is a super sexy former Army Ranger (hence the nickname). He almost always wears black, so this eye shadow has to have a black base, but it should have olive green shimmer.

Connie Rosolli - Connie is the stereotypical Italian Jersey girl. She needs an opaque, matte, blood-red lipstick/lip gloss.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake - This is Stephanie's favorite dessert. This should be a soft yellow with sheen that is like mixing the color of a pineapple with a ton of whipped cream (because what is pineapple upside down cake without whipped cream).

I'm having way too much fun with this than I'd like to admit... LOL

Hereby unveiling the JKR collection, inspired by one of the most amazing women there is (and of course, her mind-blowing masterpiece):

Eye Shadow
Hedwig - What can I say, this is basically Snow In A Jar. A white shimmery e/s that goes on very very sheer. Great for highlighting the brow bone and tear duct.

Hermy-ninny - I love the way Viktor pronounces her name! Fellow fans would expect that this e/s is an earthy colour, and it is. This is a medium brownish-taupe that has a pearl sheen, just like Hermione's hair!

Harry - A light blue-green e/s with shimmery pearl sheen, shimmery without being too shimmery. I am thinking of a shade that would make people go "Her e/s is blue... no wait, it's green... no it's blue.. heck I don't know what colour it is but it's pretty!" I know according to canon his eyes are green, but in the movie, Dan's eyes are not green. So let's be flexible!

Severus - A coal-black shade with reddish gold shimmers, great for a smokey eye, or for lining.

Glow
Albus - A light dusting of this fine shimmery wine-coloured powder will give your face a radiant, sun-kissed healthy look.

Blush
Ronnie - A bright peachy coral blush that has a little bit of a sheen to it, not too much... something that isn't too pigmented, just for a light natural flush.

Lippies
Ginny - a coral sheen with silvery shimmer .. just a very slight hint of colour, like when you chew on your lower lip and it goes a shade deeper.

Delacour: A pretty light frosty pink, with a little bit of blue interference for that kissable pout.

I've used up all my brain juices and can't think of anything else, so this will do :D

About this time of year, I always start longing for it to be fall again. I just love fall... the colors, the scents, the cool brisk air, the pumpkin-scented goodness being back in season, the ability to wear cardigans or hoodies over eveything and being absolutely cozy and snuggly. I love when fall shades come back to make-up too, so that's what my following suggestions are based on, a fall/Halloween theme:

Bump in the Night eyeliner- a matte black base with purple shimmer.

Jack-O-Lantern- pumpkin-orange eyeshadow, with a golden sheen.

Brisk- dark navy blue eyeshadow/liner with silver shimmer.

Haunted- multi-faceted, deep taupe eyeshadow with green and brown irridesence. Kind of along the lines of Idolize, just a deeper dark taupe base, and instead of blue/purple undertones, Haunted would have forest green/dark brown tones.

Candy Apple- a muted red/brown lipgloss.

I wanted to edit mine (to add in colors) but can't, so I'm reposting (since it's an official contest and all now, and i've had time to mentally expand my collection)

The Secret Weapon Collection (cuz every girl's got a lil somethin' up her sleeve) This collection highlights your best features.

EYES
Katana: Jade green satin with gold ultra shimmer because our best features are showcased in motion.
Phoenix: Immortality in a jar. Flames from the ashes and the secret of a woman's inner strength.Burnt copper with red pearl interference and subtle black sparkle.
Twin Daggers:Peacock pearl and fine gold shimmer with a kiss of cocoa for depth that draws prey closer.
Switchblade: Silver meets Gold Satin shadow- not too yellow, not too grey, but the best of both, pairing well with the green in katana and the burnt copper of phoenix while doubling as a beautiful cheek highlight on sunkissed skin.

CHEEKS
Fifth Element: Sassy revival in perfect peach flush with a hint of golden tan glow. So naturally beautiful, you're ethereal.
Kukri: Medium carmelized peach contour/bronzer the color of warm tree bark, adding definition in clean cuts of color.

LIPS
Black Magic: Bloodwine matte lipstick. Lips that devour souls.
Deadly Nightshade: Deep plum with peach shimmer. Dangerously beautiful
Love Spell: Drench your lips in pale milk chocolate kissed with ultra-fine gold shimmer making lips look full and kissable.

FRAGRANCE
Stiletto: Gives that boost of confidence and makes a bold statement. Red Hot cinnamon candy with a twist of sweet tea and tobacco.
Ambrosia: The aroma of Moonflowers in June blended with sandalwood and kissed with sweet french lavender. Feminine, unique, and subtlely alluring- fit for an immortal woman.

edited for typo and formatting with later additions to the collection.

Simply Summer
All your beauty essentials for the beach front or the pool side.

Topless: A sunless lotion made from luxurious nut oils and butters. It bronzes skin a sweet golden brown, and leaves a faint, but pleasant vanilla smell.

Seashell: Pinky, pearlescent highlighter that shimmers and accentuates cheekbones, cleavage, and underneath the eyebrows.

Sandals Eye Shadow: Medium olive green with copper and gold shimmer.

Sunset: A sheer peach wash, a hint of pink, a little sparkle.

Beach towel: A warm vanilla scent with toasted coconut, touch of mango, smidge of Sandalwood, and an almost not even there, but indistinguishable scent of sunscreen.b

*** I just received my new make-up today, June 18, and I wanted to add one more idea because I was inspired by this week's GWP: Mojave. It's a really pretty desert shade. I live in Phoenix, and just a few minutes ago, I let my dogs out in the back yard, and I looked up at the desert sky, and thought, wow, that's an amazing color scheme. Forgive me if these colors are repeated somewhere else.

I was thinking of a one color wash. Southwestern Sky: A medium blue, softened with shades of gray, a touch of purple, and a small amount of sparkle, this would have the same type of finish as Earth. It would be accompanied by a cream liner: Burnt Horizon, a bold, medium to dark orange layered with both copper and gold. For a more dramatic look, a very dark midnight blue could be added to the crease, it would have visible, silver sparkle---like stars, and it would be called Coyotes' Nightlight.
