Shoot, there goes coloring my hair back to red, I love the way Rare Berry looks on me :D

I almost never wear dresses, didn't even wear one for our wedding...so when I put one on boy does that get attention!
Well, I'm not a redhead but I think Black Dahlia is so unique and special everyone should try it. I don't know how to describe it. It's like there are so many subtle colors in it that it picks up your natural beauty and makes your cheeks flush and eyes look made up. It's my secret "don't feel like messing with putting anything on but still want to look polished" weapon. If that makes sense. I think Lily said the same thing, so you have a fair blond and a pale brunette who love it. :D

Of course, Lily looks gorgeous in anything, so I don't know if she counts. ;)

I was thinking Caramel or Maiden. If you like to do a fairly dramatic eye, a simpler lip is the way to go. Centerfold might be a little too pink. Mirage and Gold Blush would also be good choices.

I second Black Dahlia and SweetNothing (goes from sheer and natural to bold w/ a few layers), they would look great w/ both your coloring and style. Centerfold comes off as PINK on me. I wasn't a big lippie person before my addiction to SN began. I started w/ the nudes thinking they would look natural on me, and they so didn't. I would try a few colors that are different from each other.

Take a look at Raisin, it's on the bold side, but very easy to wear.

Ha, coming from you!
Black Dahlia is gorgeous, I am not sure how it would look with red hair (I guess depends on the hair?) but worth a try I think.

Jen, did I ever thank you for enabling me on Sweet Nothing? :D

Lip glosses are weird in that they look different on everyone. I had a sample of Mimosa and loved it but ordered Foreplay instead because I wanted something with a little bit of pink in it and found I actually prefer Mimosa. Just kinda have to pick a couple and try from there (maybe one of each formula to see what feels the best?) and don't get discouraged if the color isn't right for you - I usually swatch mine with a Q-tip or toothpick and trade "unloved" goodies with other people.

Agree with Mirage! It looks great with a dramatic eye.

And Black Dahlia is a nice alternative to red IF you like a dramatic lip. It's very dark on pale skin though, so it's not for every day unless you like a bold lip.

I disagree with Rare Berry clashing with red hair. :P I have henna-red hair, and Rare Berry is an almost brownish red on me. It's kinda MLBB shade for me, and very subtle. Depends on the pigmentation of your lips though!

And I'm very pale and red-haired too, I've founds that a lot of SN lippies work for me, as they're pretty sheer on my lips and allow the natural colour to 'mute' them. Some are of course, brighter than others.

I have actually taken pictures of myself wearing all the SN lippies I own. There's a thread of them over at Chanty's forum (87px.net/mmf) and if there's interest, I can repost them here as well.

At the moment, my favourites for sunny weather are Bloom, Mirage, Mimosa, Damsel.
And for overcast weather Rare Berry.
More dramatic are Aria and Fashionista.

I think it's the type of red hair, in combination with skin tone and lip pigmentation. Though my hair has been dark red before, it's usually a more coppery red with vibrant red and orange streaks. My foundation blend is buttery gold/olive/ebony and the lavender correcter to keep things from turning orange, since most colors go orange my skin--and pink on my lips. I've yet to find an SN red that doesn't go pink on me and the pinks, wow are they pink. So things like Rare Berry really clash with the combo I have going on. My hair is light ash brown right now and I still can't pull off the reds.

The OP's pic looked like her red hair tends towards the warm coppers, so that's why I guessed Rare Berry would clash. With cooler, red/brown hair though, it may work. I have a good friend who has red hair and wears red lips better than most anyone else I know. She has pretty calm, neutral skin though and her hair naturally is a dark brown, almost black. So really, it all has to do with your undertones I guess! :D

 By that definition then, you shouldn't count either. I've seen pictures of both of you, absolute beauties!

Okay then, you two have convinced me that I simply can't go without it. To the top of my Wish List it goes! :D
