Hi Karen! You are so awesome asking for our input... you rock!

I shall blatantly copy Feyith's template, because I'm lazy and I know she doesn't mind :P

Liquid or tube?
Tube please!! I love that I can reuse these... and I can put on my lippie without a mirror.

Sweet or flavored?
I like whatever flavour Precious currently is. Utterly delicious! I like minty flavours too, something like Mentos.

What colors would you like?
Hm.. I love Precious, maybe a pinker version of the exact same thing? Pink instead of peach. Or Silver instead of Gold shimmer. Something cooler but the exact same sheerness and texture. (Do you currently already have that? If so, scratch this.

Would you absolutely refuse to use a plumping product?
I love My Pretty but it does absolutely nothing on my lips... as long as it doesn't sting I will definitely still wear it.

do you want a liquid, or a tube
A liquid would be a fail-safe delivery method in southern climes for summer, but I don't think a tube would be a deal-breaker.

do you want it sweet, or flavored?
Sweet is fine, I don't really want flavors.

What colors would you like?
I will probably love a lot of shades you come up with! I like something with a little shimmer, like Bobbi. In fact, I wish I could get one the shade of Bobbi, but just a tad darker, because my lips are fairly pigmented. Bobbi is a good pink shade for me and my yellow skintones.

How glossy do you want it?
Doesn't have to be terribly glossy for me.

What would the texture feel like?
I want it to be ultra-moisturizing, like Black Label, but again, not a deal-breaker.

How long should it last on your lips before you consider it long lasting?
I don't require plumping at all, because I have full lips already, but I know not everyone feels that way.

Oh, and the plumping- I'm torn on using it. The plumper that we use is natural, doesn't sting, and it's actually really good for you- it has about the anti-oxidant power of Vitamin C (whic I've never gotten to really work in a lippie without stinging). Would you absolutely refuse to use a plumping product?
I would use a lippie that plumps, if it doesn't sting. That's fine with me.

I'd like a tube. The tubes you use right now are great - I can use the product and not have it be too messy, it's portable, and I don't need a mirror to apply. Also, a stick form is more sanitary. If you're going for a liquid product, I prefer a squeeze tube over a tube with a wand.

I prefer unsweetened and unflavored, both because I find sweeteners and flavorings irritating and because if it tastes too good, I end up licking my lips a lot and then they chap.

What colors would you like? I would really like some dark-but-sheer colors. A vegan clone of Clinique's Black Honey would be fabulous. I'm also not sold on unusual colors, but I like a hot pink with a blue reflect. Blue reflect would also look really good in a bright red. I've also heard that a sheer blue can make teeth appear whiter, so if you wanted to try that, I'd be game.

I'd like it to be somewhat shiny but not super glossy.

It would be like creamy whipped butter in texture, except less oily. Your current vegan formula is pretty much perfect - please never discontinue or change the vegan kisser slickers - they are HG for me. In a liquid product, I like smooth, nonsticky, but still thickish.

Long-lasting? Hard to say - the only truly long-lasting glosses I've used were really sticky and filmy, and I hated the texture. I'm happy if I only have to reapply after meals. Though, check out Gabriel Color's liquid glosses - they're sticky, and they don't last forever, but they are also moisturizing. It's the only sticky gloss I actually really like.

I wouldn't use a plumping product, because my lips are so sensitive.

Also, the perfect lipgloss would be vegan. Vegan is almost the most important thing.

Packaging - Definitely tube, your slim tubes are really great for precision application with and without a mirror.

Finishing - I like a slight gloss/ shine but nothing too sparkly. Matte is fine too.

Taste - Slightly sweet

Colours - This really depends on what works for individuals' skintones, yea? I take warm colours better, so I like all things warm, but not too peachy warm. Warm nudes, warm roses are my faves

Lasting - I like those that leave a slight stain on the lips after drinking/ eating, so even if it comes off, not everything does. Rare Berry, Temptation, Carpe Diem and Promise do that for me and probably a few others that I can't quite remember now.

Plumping - My Pretty does nothing for my lips (not that I'm looking for any plumping), so I'm ambivalent on that. Can do, can do without. Best to have both versions :D

I love the SN tubes. They are my favorite. I loved Frolic and Copper Rose (SO MUCH) but ended up not wearing them very much b/c I preferred the tubes for application.

I like glossy but not shimmery as a general rule. I don't wear mattes very often.

Flavors - no black licorice, nothing too minty, no "hot" cinnamon (though the chai-like cinnamon is fine). Anything sweet, fruity, dessert-like, etc etc I would use, but I cannot use mint or artificial cinnamon b/c I have sensitive skin and I can't stand black licorice.

The colors, for me, must be understated. As you know, I like Rhonda, Frolic, and Mirage a lot, and I often wear clear balms b/c I have trouble finding colors that don't come out too dark on me. I prefer a tan nude color (though XXX makes me look dead). I like a lot of the SN colors, but I would love more colors that show up lighter on me. Caramel also works for me in this way, as does Birthday Suit, though Bday Suit tends to be a little darker than what I would consider really nude on me. I like Bloom too, but it's a bit cool. I could go for pinks, roses, copper, anything really, as long as it doesn't show up so *dark* on my lips. I still have no idea whether I'm "warm" or "cool" (I guess I'm a "spring"?) but it seems like the warmer colors usually work out better for me.

Lasting - I don't typically worry about this, but I would consider anything that lasted more than 3-5 hours pretty good. I reapply constantly so I try to not choose high maintenance lip colors.

Plumping - I don't care as long as it doesn't tingle or feel strange. I don't typically use plumpers b/c I feel like they do nothing for me. My lips are my lips and I just keep them moisturized. If a color I wanted was only available in plumping, it wouldn't stop me from buying it, but plumping features also wouldn't persuade me to look at a product.

Oh, and not sticky. I like the SN glosses b/c they are smooth and moisturizing. I would still use them even if they didn't come in any colors at all. They are the best I have tried. I like them almost better than the balms for every day use.

do you want a liquid, or a tube?

- I actually like both versions. I like the liquid version because I can build coverage from sheer to more opaque.

do you want it sweet, or flavored?

- Sweet is good with me!

What colors would you like? How glossy do you want it? What would the texture feel like?

- I really like the sheer lippies since they don't change colors on me. My favorite is Truly - I love the texture, the sheerness and the color. Sparkles and my lips don't play so nice together. I would also love to see more neutral to warm colors.

Oh, and the plumping- I'm torn on using it. The plumper that we use is natural, doesn't sting, and it's actually really good for you- it has about the anti-oxidant power of Vitamin C (whic I've never gotten to really work in a lippie without stinging). - I haven't tried lip plumping products before... so I'm not sure. I have a My Pretty coming my way, so I'll be sure to update!

Eta: I would love to see a lip version of Carnal! I know Carnal is a cool color, but it warms up on my skin to almost the same color of Desert Plum but a tad deeper.

Hmm, let's see...

Skinny tube, in original kisser slicker formula
Matte, perhaps with a bit of gloss but no sparkles: I prefer the finish of Damsel over Precious
Unflavored - or perhaps a bit of coconut :)
Feel of smooth and full, you nailed that one, but maybe a bit harder for the colorful stuff, and more opaque
Perfect color would be MLBB: dusky rose w/o any brown - that's all I can think of, you pretty much put everything else out already :D
Lasting power of 3-5hrs would be nice.

All that said, would love to have a clear liquid gloss that I can use to change up my mattes :)
Perhaps that one could include the plumper? I like what smooth and full and My Pretty does to my lips, so I'll take that in a tube too!

Mmmm, daydreaming of lippies, now that I can do half asleep! Thank you for asking, I love how you value customer input...

I have 2 HG lip products. The first would be creamy and plush, kind of like the black label lippies are, but a bit denser (like lipstick). In a hot fuchsia with blue, and a creamy pale peachy golden color. I need them more opaque and dense so they will override my natural lip color. In a tube, like the black labels. Little bit of shimmer is fine, but mostly rich, matte, slight shine.

The second would be in the squeeze tube like Feyith mentioned, though I love the wand glosses you make too. The texture of them is great too, I love that my hair doesn't get glued to my lips when I wear them! Bright orange, purple, or fuchsia, they can be see through or shimmery. Sheer colors to wear alone, or layered over other products. I'm thinking like the L'Oreal Juicy glosses http://www.amazon.com/LOreal-Colour-Jui ... B000A6PJLO These would be my summer option because I'm prone to leaving things in the car, so wear glosses almost exclusively in the summer thanks to the southern heat. I'd also be cool with the colors being a stain, with a clear gloss to use over them.

Lasting to me means a few hours at best, I don't mind reapplying as a trade off to avoid dryness. A bit of a stain quality so that it doesn't totally disappear in darker shades would be nice. There's nothing worse than drinking a glass of water and then realizing most of the color is on your glass except for a dark outline ala the "dark lip liner" trend a few years ago.

I prefer slightly sweet, but can't be any sort of artificial sweetener. I like vanilla or peppermint for flavor in the lipsticks, or a fruity one like coconut or cherry in the glosses. My preference being for gluten free flavorings, of course...

Plumping is fine. I've used ones that sting a bit and they were okay, I'd prefer something gentler that plumps because it's hydrating the lips. The additive you mention sounds just fine. If it's really good for the lips though, perhaps the emphasis should be made that it's more an "antioxidant" additive than a "plumping" additive, since it seems some get hung up on plumpers that sting and this isn't one of those?

Oh, boy.....Karen's opened up a big ole can o' worms!

here's my take on the perfect lipgloss

1. for me...wand over tube definately. SN tubes and I don't get along for a myriad of reasons.
2. feel....creamy....like Negligee feels, but in a wand, so it doesn't crumble...and so it stays put. Like a liquid lipstick.
3. finish.....I like a shimmer. Actually hoping for some subtle blue or green morphing effects.
4. flavor.....minty fresh is good, but unless it tastes like black licorice or watermelon, it's probably not a dealbreaker.
5. medium shimmery reddish brown that does NOT lean towards wine-colored. Sort of like if Nectar and Iced Mocha had a baby.
6. wear...3 hours is alright.
7. plumping....don't really care, as I don't really believe those products actually work.

I know that my ideas are pretty contrary to everybody elses, but a girl can dream......

Thanks Karen for asking us what we like!! I am still always amazed at your attention towards us. You Rock!!

As for my preferences, I am super easy to please  but I am absolutely LOVING the plumping lip products. I really need the plumping, and now that I am getting older, I need it even more, and they work so nicely and feel so great on. I Love My Pretty, the formula is perfect for my lips, and the plumping works nicely. So I’d likely get a whole lot of lippies if they were the plumping ones. As for colour, I dunno, to make it easier for people to like and use, probably sheerer is easier, as it can suit more people, or they can layer to make something they want for the day. For example, with My Pretty, if I want to it is so easy to layer something like Bitten or Fearless over top and I get the benefit of the plumpness plus the colour I want for the day. But something less sheer would be better I suppose, or maybe the sheerness of Bitten (my fav) or similar, so branching into pinks, lavenders, browns, plums…. The list is endless! But at the very lease, I’d love more plumping lippies even if the colour selection isn’t there, I don’t mind layering.
I find My Pretty to do a better job of plumping than the Full and Smooth clear one, and I find it more moisturizing as well. If that helps.
And I’d probably prefer a lip tube to a liquid gloss, but this is such a personal preference. But if they were offered as a liquid then I’d get them as well! So I am happy all around with more plumping ones!!
And as for flavour and glossyness, anything goes for me. But I prefer not to have shimmer, they always look frosted on me, so matte with glossyness is great. I find Bitten to be a nice gloss level, and it is matte so it is a great example.
I also agree about the artificial sweetner thing, Not a fan. I always use something like xylitol or stevia now days, as they are safe and taste delicious.
I really don’t like peppermint, at all!! Not even remotely, so I’d not purchase any lippies with peppermint oil in them. So weird I know, but can’t help it!!
I’d say for safety reasons, most Essential oils should not be used, or at least only use ones that are pregnancy safe, makes it easier in the long run so the formula doesn’t have to be changed.
I don’t worry about how long they last, I typically reapply after drinking, eating, or simply because I am bored. I am probably the only one who doesn’t find the black label formula as moisturizing as other formulas. Bitten, nectar are ones that are moisturizing for me, ones like cultured I find can dry out my lips. Oh boy, this is going to be difficult for you I think, too many preferences and request, so I can’t thank you enough for asking.
