I'm going to go ahead and "me too" this. Cause I have been wearing Earth a lot.

Me too! I really like colors that aren't quite matte, but don't have a noticeable shimmer either.

I totally agree. I love the finish of earth. I need something softer than matte, but find shimmer too much sometimes.

I've been singing the praises of Earth everywhere else but here! The finish is sublime. Add my vote to the requests for a new line of colours with this finish. I'm all sparkled out for shimmer, so this makes an elegant alternative choice.

Jumping on the band wagon: Love the finish! Would love to see it in other 'tricky' colors: something that looks simple in the jar but does all sorts of fun stuff on your lids, like the hidden colors of Earth.

So, I feel really dumb because the first time I got Earth, I held it up to my face, didn't even bother swatching and just gave it away because I can't wear mattes or taupey colors. I finally gave it a try the other day and am in love with it. What else have I been missing out on?

Heh, I've done that a few times until I came to the realization that mineral makeup is very dependent upon your own individual coloring! In other words, what it looks like in a jar or baggie often isn't what it looks like on your skin. That's the only way I can explain why three people with similar coloring can wear an eyeshadow that looks so bleh in a jar and have one look like they are wearing a shimmery grey, another taupe, and still another a glowing purple/brown shade!feyith wrote:So, I feel really dumb because the first time I got Earth, I held it up to my face, didn't even bother swatching and just gave it away because I can't wear mattes or taupey colors. For instance, Slate looks like a color I can't wear at all in the jar (cool brown) but after reading Jen uses it as her go-to grey I tried it out and lo and behold found it has the same effect on me! Doesn't look brown at all...and looks great with yellow. Who knew?
