Cool, thanks!

Looking at swatches, Maiden seems like what I am looking for, anyone have it? What's it like in real life?

Also what about Mirage and Polished Pink? Are they too dark?

Do you have Precious, Oxana? I think it is the same shade of pink as that if you take out the gold.

I do have Precious. Is it Polished Pink that you are talking about when you say it is the same shade? It is as sheer as Precious is? Thanks! :)

I am just having so much trouble narrowing it down, lol. I keep adding so many lippies to my cart, I just want them ALL! :)

Sorry, I meant Maiden. It's not as sheer but a similar tone if that makes sense. I switch between Maiden and Peace depending on whether I want the gold sparkle look or not. (I think Precious on you looks like how Peace does on me.)

Modern poet is very light, I couldn't wear it because it made my lips disappear, lol. XXX is also super nude, I remember a pic of phyrra wearing it and it erased her lips completely (a look I can't do but it looked great on her). Precious is pretty light IMO, it is very slightly lighter than my lips anyway.
Here is the thread with phyrra wearing xxx, looking at it it is not that light... but I think she is pretty fair:

Maiden is lighter than Centerfold, but I wouldn't say light. Have you tried Caramel? I use Modern Poet on top of colors that are too dark or too something and it makes most colors wearable. B/c it lightens my lips so much, I almost never wear it alone.

I'm watching this thread like a hawk, so whatever you do get Oxana, I wanta see swatches! haha And I'll do the same if I order lipgloss soon. I'm making a huge order when the valentine's products come out so we'll see if I get even more lip glosses.

Sorta OT, phyrra's FOTDs are awesome. I don't think I could pull off xxx tho. It's about 3 shades darker than my skin. Modern Poet looks promising tho. Hummmm

EDIT: I meant to say I have Precious also (thank you to whomever swapped it to me) and it's a dark-er warm pink on me. Which I love. But it's about 5 shades darker pink than I'm thinking.

Definatley getting XXX, it looks awesome in her pic! Thanks!
I think part of the problem for me is that my lips are pigmented, so I can never really tone them down with a sheer shade, but XXX seems really opaque! And I could always layer something over it too to change the color :)

I have not tried Caramel, how does it compare to Maiden or Centerfold? Thanks!

One more day until the Valentine's colors come out! :D

Silverfern - I will totally post swatches of my mega lippie haul

I use ELF's studio lip primer and blot it and it blocks out my natural lip color. Then I can use whatever lippie I want. I do this with Precious a lot because I really like the color, but if I put it on my bare lips all you can really see is the shimmer. Just a thought... ;)
