Anyone else have more input on the lippies, or can answer my questions about the Sleep in Jar colors and the Clear Cream Liner? :)

January - I don't have any input regarding lippies but just wanted to say you are so cute. I love your full lashes. :)

Starting with the rest:
January wrote:I have blue purple and red purple under eye circles so I was going to get both Sleep in a Jar colors, hope that's a good idea.

Does the Clear Cream Liner help to keep eye shadow on the waterline? If it does that would be great, I'd rather use the e/s I have as liner then go looking for an all natural liner pencil. Sorry I'd go searching for the answers to these questions myself but I have a cold and don't want to read more than I have to, or think....

I'm sure my order will be large enough to qualify me for a free e/s, so is there any one e/s that looks great on brown eyes that I have to have? Here is a picture of my eyes if that helps, they're looking red brown like my mother's cherry wood china cabinet lately. Pay no attention to bright blue.
I think that sampling a few of the concealers is a good idea. I am not sure I could narrow it down for you. My gut says Light Peach.

Clear Cream Liner on the waterline will probably not work quite like you envision....and I really don't think it would stay there very long. I also don't think you could get mineral eyeshadows blended with it well enough manually to not go on kind of grainey feeling. The easiest method for using the Clear Cream liner does not involve premixing, but rather lining with it, and then patting shadow onto it. It might be worth a try.

For eyeshadow, you qualify for one free with every $30 spent. If you spend $60, you get two, and so on.... Some favorites for brown eyes are Vinyard, Purr, Brown Sugar, Soiree, Pop, Breathe....and you will probably get a different list from each one of us. ;)

Lippies are next....

January wrote:Hi, I am trying to fill a cart, I am mostly purchasing lip gloss and lip stick. I have quite a large cart though, and I am beginning to wonder if I am picking colors that are too similar. I am wanting to try out some nude shades, I put in the xxx ultra nude lipstick along with other nude glosses because I figured the xxx would be good for really blotting out my sometimes very pigmented lips. I don't like anything straight up burnt orange in color, and I think I've avoided anything like that, but let me know if I didn't. If I have chosen colors that are just too similar to really bother with getting both please let me know. :) At the bottom of the list I have included a picture of me, and if any colors just wouldn't look good, please let me know. I am yellow and olive toned, and obviously the rest of my description can be summed up by "brown".

Here is my list:

Negligee
XXX Ultra Nude
Crimson
Mimosa
Maiden
Nude Beach
Bitten
Precious
Caramel
Aria
Breathless
Centerfold
Cultured
Mirage
Gleaming
Crimson/Bitten
Mimosa/Maiden/Nude Beach/Caramel
Precious/Gleaming
XXX/Mirage/Centerfold
Cultured/Aria/Breathess/Negligee
This is how I would group them into color families.....The only overlaps that might look similar on you are Mirage/Centerfold and Precious/Gleaming, but mostly due to the pigmentation level of your lips and the sheerness of the product. I think Precious and Gleaming will both show up as a golden shimmer even though Precious is more sheeny than shimmery. I do think you will find enough difference from the lipstick to gloss as far as pigmentation for them to look very different even though they are a similar color.

Thank you Jen, that was very helpful. :)

For the concealers, I was going to try the light peach and the original yellow Sleep in a jar. I have been using EDM concealers, and I go with the peach concealer for the blue/purple ring around my circles, and Abbot's (Sunlight/Peach mix) for the main red/purple part. Sunlight worked better for the main red/purple, but I could never get it to apply sheerly enough, so I got a reverse panda effect along with the color correction. I thought I would try original SIJ because I was told it is very sheer and just color corrects without looking thick. The Light Peach I know for sure I need.

I would still get the clear cream liner, it looks like it has it's uses, and I guess I'll just see if I can get it to work on the waterline. Right now I just pat dry powder there and it disappears quickly. If it doesn't work I'm sure I'll still find uses for it. :D

And thanks for the info on the lippies. As much as I really should narrow them down more, I'm actually pretty glad that most of them would look different on me. I like variety. :D

Yep...Light Peach and you sound like a perfect candidate for the yellow, too. Let us know how it works for you!

I don't have that much input into your colour choices, as I don't have any of the lippies on your list, but gorgeous pics as usual Marisa! Also, I just got Vineyard yesterday, it is the most amazing complex layered purple, I just love it! I think it would look great with your eyes too, or grassroots green, or... pretty much everything :D
Cheers,
Lily
