Congrats, Ghost! I may have some work for you in the near future, too!

I think it's great you got through the course, and much luck with your book club. I've been intrigued by the idea of an online book club, as sadly, so few people here read.

Oh god thanks everyone for your kind words, this is only the 1st step and I don't know if I've passed yet :D :D

I popped into town today and I treated myself to some new clothes

Karen: That website is too funny, I couldn't stop laugh LOL and who doesn't love twisted things

Rhys: thanks for the book club support Rhys, but sadly it's a fake book club. Course regulations it can't be for anything real............mmm not yet anyway (clogs turning)

Silverfern: You're too good. I wish I could say the same thing to myself but I know I would buy something nice regardless - I would need something nice to cheer me up :D

Hi Guys

Update on this I got my results and I've passed yay. I got a C grade but I was four points away from a B. I kind of let myself down on the report part (explaining the website), but I've never in my life had to right one, so for my first one not bad.

But that does tell me that it would be worth while taking one of the open university report writing classes. But I passed which is so cooooooool 8-)

Congrats! Web design in 10 weeks is amazing! I am an IT/CS major and know it is no small feat putting together a website. I kinda fell into web design after taking a couple classes for my major and really love it. If it is something you would like to do more of, I would recommend taking a graphics for the web class as well as marketing classes--they will really help. My major project this year was designing a site for our local Chamber of commerce, so I can really relate to that bit on The Oatmeal. Designing for yourself is so much easier!

That's fantastic!!! 10 weeks to get anything usable online is just phenominal- especially if you've never done it before. I think it's the hardest type of design because you have to be good in so many different disciplines, and then get everything else to work too!
