well, I still had this feeling with the Emu one, though not as bad. My DH uses it now and he doesn't get that feeling, so I wonder if it is me (in that the gel thing doesnt work with my skin) or if I am not letting things dry in between. Letting the serums dry fully does seem to help. Not sure how it would feel without any serum. I would for sure let my skin dry between washing my face and applying the lotion.
all these lotions react the same for me :( So I have decided to go back to my original face lotion during the day (Jason Vitamin C lotion)(in addition, I was finding that using the Emu lotion under my SN foundation resluted in the foundation not lasting all day - I think it was making me too oily for daytime...). and for night I am still sticking it out with the Emu one becuase I can see in the morning that my skin is hydrated. So I figure that I might as well use it up and then see what else I can find....
Not all skincare will work the same for everyone! I Love the serums and toners, but the lotions just don't seem to work for me....thankfully they have the samples so you can see how they are. But just keep in mind that perhaps they might'nt work for you either....or maybe one will !

I have also found with the moisturizers, because they are like a gel, my skin also can feel a bit tight or something strange after I apply them (so far I have tried the emu, raspberry, firming), and they all have this funny feeling after.

HTH
I have that exact feeling too! I only ordered the Raspberry Moisturizer and my skin felt really tight afterward. I'm glad you mentioned this because I wasn't sure if it was just my skin being wonky. It felt soft, but tight. So you have the Emu moisturizer and you say it leaves you with the same feeling? I was going to try out a sample of that as well because I have straight emu oil that I love as a night time moisturizer but was looking for a lighter version for the day time.

I don't use SN skincare line, but for me lack of hydration is usually what makes my skin feel tight, not the lack of oils. For the longest of times I would use too rich moisturisers, which resulted in breakouts, because I did not know about the difference between the skin lacking hydration and lacking oils. Test tweaking your routine by adding a few drops of an oil (I love safflower since it is light and doesn't break me out and is cheap) to your moisturising step. If that helps, then changing to a richer moisturiser might be the way to go. However, if it just feels greasy then I would suggest trying some kind of hydrating mist or serum before your moisturiser which might do the trick. Really, you will notice the difference between what your skin needs when you start experimenting. Some days your skin might want a bit more oil, some days hydration, some days your routine as it is at the moment will be just right.

As for the Luxury Powder, I got my sample just the other day. I know that reasonably, I should not start to see real results this soon, but so far my skin seems calmer as in less redness, less clogged pores and overall just a healthier glow. You can apply it with any brush, really. Powder brushes might spread it too thinly for it to really do any good for a length of time and a kabuki brush might be a bit dense, leaving you with a whitish cast (which is perfect for me, since it just evens out my skintone to match my neck). Personally, I use a powder puff in a roll and press motion, just as I would with finishing powder, pressing it into my skin. I know a lot of people prefer brushes since no one wants the powdery look that is so easy to get with powder puffs if you just pat and dab, but really a good powder puff used correctly (I splurged and got myself the square ones from Laura Mercier after reading all the great reviews) just makes the whole make-up last that much longer and look...more finished, I guess. They are also awesome for blotting with powder, unlike brushes that just doesn't do the trick for me. I apply it after my evening routine, and then spray my face one last time, let dry and go to bed.

Is the luxury powder suppose to be an anti aging powder? I read the summary but I'm not sure what it is suppose to do for us. It sounds wonderful and I bought a sample, but I'm just wondering what to expect! (miracles maybe?? ;) )

Would I be able to use a fan brush for applying the luxury powder? I don't really remember why I bought it in the first place (maybe to brush away fallouts?)... I just don't want my regular brushes to soak up the luxury. Maybe I'll get that puff, sounded really nice as Agnes described it :)

Sounds like a definite possibility, Egerandi. I don't have the luxury powder, and I lost my fan brush, but it was my go-to for blushes and powders I wanted to go on lightly, and not gob up on me.
