I can join Laurie in the Hazel eyed club, actually mine tend to me more green gold than a true Hazel, but I absolutely love Fire and Brimstone to make my eyes pop, and Grassroots Green especially used as a liner with a nude eyeshadow, and my favorite combo and go colors lately have been Olive You , Cream and Honey. Honey on the inner 1/2 half, Olive You outer 1/2 and crease, Cream as a highlighter and smugged in the inner corner. I almost always tightline, so Bassalt is my everyday liner, This combo really makes my eyes stand out.
My advice is play with some colors, you will find some are ok but not wow, and somethat you wondered about may cause you to say wow I really like how I look with this combo.
Which eye shadow could suits me?
Re: Which eye shadow could suits me?
Yesterday i mixed Sandy with Slick, I mean I put one color over the over as a wash and it became a very light almost white grey and it looked wow, so i will be definitely looking for a really light grey now. Hope Karen will amke a matte in that color. that color really made my eyes pop!
Re: Which eye shadow could suits me?
I have funny light greeny eyes - one of my friends calls them 'milky green'. They have a dark bluey/green ring around them, and are light green with flecks of yellow towards the centre. I love Lurid, Slate, Slick and Elle to make them greener. I find all over green kind of drowns them, but I used to wear pale purple/lilac with a tiiiiny bit of darkish green (I think grassroots green would be closest) in the very outer corners as an outer 'V' liner or in the outer crease. It sounds awful and took lots of blending with a good neutral base but it worked! If you're feeling brave Red Hot works well I use it with Raven or Coal depending how black I want it to go!
I fiind purpley greys to be the safest and most flattering way to bring out those greeny bits, but like Jen says eyeshdow really can only do so much, and Hazel is a beautiful colour as it is!

Re: Which eye shadow could suits me?
It's funny, I mixed some eyeshadows, and the purplish brown one made my eyes look brownich whereas the greyer one or lighter:peachier one made them look greenish orange yellow. i think i should stay out of brown because it just brings out the brown of my eyes, even without eyeshadow they look less brown. One thing is sure, I think anyway, cooler shadow colors and overall makeup bring out the yellow and grey of ly eyes much more than warmer based ones. I am now ready to experiment with more colors.
