Mixing Silica Powder Spheres with Splendid Perfecting Glow
Mixing Silica Powder Spheres with Splendid Perfecting Glow
I have been read fantastic reviews about Silica Powder Spheres by Coastal Scents. I was thinking of buying it and mixing it with Splendid Perfecting Glow which I like but don't have the oil controlling power. Will it have the same effect like "Blur Finishing Powder" if I mix the Silica spheres in?

There's already a lot of silica in the perfecting glows, but I suppose you could try it with a small batch and see how it turns out - it's probably not strictly necessary, though.

It might work- but it might be better to give the Oil Control serum a try- I think it's easier to cut it off at the source than it is to keep putting absorbers on it. It should be on the site by the end of the week. I'm not at all familiar with the other product- I work with silica, but there could be a difference in the various silica powders- so I can't really make a good guess. Blur is formulated with a lot of silica, but it's blended with a few other ingredients to help protect the pigments from the oils, and to ensure that it sticks to your skin.

Thanks Karen. Eagerly waiting for the products to be launched.
I so happy with Silk Naturals' foundation as I can find a shade that matches my skin tone without the guesswork and it doesn't cause my skin to breakout. Totally in love and satisfied.
