Hi,
I am after some advice please. In the first pic I've got make up on, that is 1 ebony, 1/4 warm gold 6 ivory (heavy coverage). The second and third pic are with no make up on.
I have already bought a few samples, but so far haven't found the perfect match. As you can see from the pics I've got redness and acne scar. I tend to look pinkish, but I think that is mainly because I blush easily and my skin gets irritated very easily, therefore not quite sure if I should try to match the redness or my true colour (near my neck).
I am using the heavy coverage, but still not satisfied with the final look, as I haven't achieved a smooth look. Do you think the recipe I am using does not mix the right tones? Should I add more ivory?
Also do you think I should use concealer/green base as well?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: before and after pics - foundation advice please
Hi silk,
First of all I think it is too dark. You will need to add at least two scoops of Ivory and maybe even a third (but start by adding one, because pictures are sometimes hard to read). Also, you really should be judjing the color at least 20-30 minutes after you apply the foundation to allow it to blend with the oils in your skin. I understand about not wanting to match the redness. I have that issue, too. I also am not sure you need any Warm Gold, but once we get closer to the correct depth, it might be fine. As for green corrector or booster, let's try to work with what you have first.

Re: before and after pics - foundation advice please
Hi Jen,
Thanks so much for the advice. I will have a go at mixing just ivory and ebony, using more ivory, and then I will update some more pics. Sometimes it is difficult to see the obvious when it is yourself looking at the mirror!
I appreciate your help, will let you know how I get on.
