Anyone here from Vegas?

My husband has surprised me with a quick 3 night trip to Las Vegas in April! Neither of us have ever been there, nor do w know anyone who has. So I'm looking here to see if any of you are familiar w/the city and can offer up recommendations of what to do/see/restaurants etc. We're staying at the LV Resort and Spa at Summerlin, which is about 15 minutes from the strip. We'll definitely lounge by the pool for one day, but want to be able to say that we saw the "glitz and glamour" that is LV!

if you go to the strip you should see the Bellagio water show its really pretty even inside the casino they have a beautiful garden area where you and your hubby can take cute pics together Mirage & Wynn have the BEST buffets. oh, and I suggest you check out our newest mall in town called Townsquare you can shop, eat, and catch a movie all in one place! there's so much more..but I'm too tired to name them all haha hope that helped though

I've never been but always wanted to. It sounds like a lot of fun, and what a great husband to surprise you like that!!!! Can't wait to hear details.

Thanks Karen, I feel quite lucky in the husband department! I'm also itching to get back to some sun and warmth again. We took the kids to Disney (park and cruise combo) in February and I've been cold ever since we got home! I will share when we get back
