Help me choose some blush please

Brace yourselves...

Image

Yes, it's in need of some enlivening. I actually own 20 different blushes, mostly donated by kind friends, and only two look like they belong on me. One is Rosy Apple by Elemental (looks like SN Pout lippy) and the other is Nars Orgasm. I've just acquired some samples from SN and so far, only the SN formula suits me, as other's are too shimmery, or itchy, or brash. I've tried: -
Charming - I like it as it gives me a bright pink wash. Pretty, but not flattering my natural colouring.
Lovelace - I like this, but it's more pigmented than I can handle easily but I love the sheen. I've just got a Fibre Optic brush, so that'll help application.
Petal - very much like my natural blush, but I want something "a bit more oomphf"
Enchanting - love this tone of colour on me, but it's tricky to handle as lightly as I need.

Any suggestions? I'm brewing up a nice big juicy order and want a couple blushes. I'm also thinking about Cupid Glow. Or general colour ideas? Thanks.

Blush suggestions:

I have Lovelace also. If you like Lovelace, but would like a more sheer peachy coral, take a look at the original release colours such as Rich, Sassy (one is limited edition) or my favorite Wish you were here. I prefer the WYWH over Lovelace. I have both in full size.

The original released blushes are more sheer. Climax seems to be an universal colour for most. I can wear it , but prefer more peachy or coral.

If you are thinking of trying a bronzer the Beach Bunny is the only bronzer I can wear. I also like to use this as an eye shadow. My colouring is similar to yours.

The fibre optic brush will make a huge difference.

You're lovely! You have such wonderful porcelain skin! I'm maybe a tad darker than you- and a bit more "red" but these are my mainstays:
Babydoll- you cannot live with at least a sample
Flirt- it's pretty much my go-to when I can't decide. It's a little on the plum side, and it kind of goes with everything
Maybe Baby- I use this when I want something to go with a smokey eye or a bold lip

I can and do wear lots of others, but those are my big 3 can't live without, go into panic mode if they're not in my makeup bag blushes.

Cupid is good- but I'd go for Angel or Cherub- they're a little lighter and maybe a better choice with your coloring. The Perfecting Glows are fun too!

Flirt is AMAZING! I have a ton of trouble finding blushes that look natural but Flirt is really great b/c it is plum and plum seems to flatter most skin tones. Definitely second that choice. It's sheer but not light...

Oh, and my vote is for Angel based on your photo.

And I think you might try Crystal or Splendid perfecting glows. They are just awesome and IMO look a lot more subtle than Angel glow.

Thanks a lot for all your tips. I've ordered, twice actually. One is an emergency, I ran out of foundation base colour and had to use plain Ivory today and cover with cheapie regular powdered foundation. Urgh! It's orange :( But in my 'proper' order, I've got full sizes of Flirt blush, and Satisfied blush (if I don't love it applied with a FO brush, I know someone who will...). Also bought Precious Hunny Bunny clone, a sample of Cupid blush (I have samples of Angel and Cherub, but wanted something to impart a hint more colour). I also got some serums and microdermabrasion cream (two lots, it sounds just the ticket for me!) I think I might rehome the GWPs because green doesn't like me, but any GWP is welcome! (Wish we could opt for a gumball instead). So, all in all, I'm really excited to try the skincare, get some glow back and 'freshen up' ready for spring sunshine. :)

Thanks again, you ladies make great personal shoppers! :D

*awesome* I just got my order and your suggestions were wonderful!

I got Flirt blush, admittedly one I wouldn't have tried but it is the perfect pitch between peach and pink, ideal for me. Softly pigmented enough to be light and natural looking and easy to apply. Ideal for 'everyday's. I ordered Satisfied with the intention of using it very lightly for a touch of shimmer above Flirt, but it's really pretty on it's own. Precious lippy is perfectly named and, for my money, the very best colour I've owned yet, bar none. It's like Gold Blush but all grown up and dressed for the débutante ball. It's a universal must-own and, as someone said, it could be made for brides. I also got a sample of Cupid which I'd use as a sheen highlighter for cheekbones, collar bones and other interesting bits - a very pretty and wearable warm colour. If you're afraid of warm tones, this one is very forgiving. I also got Highbeam which is magnificent and I will be buying that repeatedly. (please, don't tell Idolize... ;))

Truly happy with everything and already saving up for next time to take up a few more of your suggestions. Delighted!
