i've also noticed that these new scents (with the reformulated base) fade quickly, whereas the old scents (i use la femme) last for hours and hours...i've only tried samples of the new ones so far, so i'll have to reassess when i get my full sizes...but i have also been kind of sad that they don't seem to last very long on me. especially since the old one i have has such great longevity. i wonder what the difference between the old and new bases are?

I have not found that these scents fade any quicker than most of my other brands, and some (Tahiti) linger a very long time on me. But I do agree w/what Karen said that it's mostly due to your individual chemistry. I've been wearing Petite Cherie (my love!) for the past week or so and I put it on each wrist and under my chin. I can still smell it on my wrist the next day. Today I'm wearing White Ginger/Amber and it hasn't been as long lasting as PC, but I can still get subtle whiffs of it. I'm also one of those people that doesn't like a cloud of fragrance "following" me. I am quite sensitive to scents and have suffered sitting next to men/women wearing very strong colognes/perfumes on airplanes and in restaurants and I never want to be one of those people! I also love the fact that these are in solid form and therefore don't count against you in the 3-1-1 carry-on restrictions!

i hope petite cherie likes me and last well LOL.

i is gonna buy morocan rose by body shop later. i like that one more than cassis rose, it's not too "young" or too "old" feeling, so i can wear it to many places =D just like petite cherie. heard morocan rose is similar to another of annick goutal's fragrance.

being open and adventurous to makeup color is one tiny gesture, but one ginormous step to being more receptive to the beauty life is bringing onto you.

never try, never know x) have fun!

ok. I did what Karen recommended: I swiped the wand down my left forearm and then used my right forearm to rub it in. I swiped 4-5 times. The smell permeated a lot more. Much better! I think my body chemistry is just a little resistant to Petite Cherie so I need more? Haha. I will try this method with the other samples and report back.

I gave my husband a hug and asked if he smelt anything and he said "yes". Yay. I don't neccessarily want to fill some one's nose up when I walk into a room, but I would like to leave a sweet smelling impression when I hug or get up close to my loved ones. ;)

I'll try rubbing it into my hair next.

Thanks for the advice!

I have tried the scent on my wrists and collarbone. I find that Tahiti lasts in both places but Caribbean Therapy mostly fades. The collarbone has been much more successful with both fragrances, so I recommend that to others. Haven't tried my hair yet - may do that tomorrow.
