peach foundation
Hello all, Has anyone tried the new peach foundation? What's your skintone and how'd you mix it? I'm wondering if maybe I should add a tad to my mix, but unsure if it's right for me. Thanks, J.
Re: peach foundation
I'm still a new SN user so I haven't found my match exactly. I'm mixed ethnicities (Hispanic and Asian) so I really have trouble finding a close color match because I'm neither olive like my mom nor am I golden yellow like my dad. My skin tone is somewhat neutral. I'm not very pink, but I also don't have a lot of yellow. I have medium-fair skin. My first order was ebony and peach. I tried both alone. Ebony is way too cool on me. Makes me look a little greyish and pale. Peach seems closer, BUT...I don't think it is good alone. To my eye, peach is still a little on the cool side. For me..I need to add some warmth into it. I just ordered Warmth gold so I can't tell you the results of mixing yet. I'll have to try wamth gold alone too...to confirm whether I am completely warm-toned or a variation of peach. So I just recommend adding other colors to peach depending on whether you're slightly cooler or slightly more warmer or slightly more yellower. Sorry if this didn't help.
Re: peach foundation
I am actually wearing a mix of Peach these days (1:16). I do find it to be one of the most pigmented of the color bases, as I usually use about 1:12 with Warm Gold and about 1:9 with Ebony. I am a hard one to match, also, as I am Irish fair in winter, but have very dark features (and I get very tan in the summer). I am also not quite olive, or yellow. I do think a blend of Warm Gold and Peach, or Buttery Gold and Peach would be my perfect match. Once I start getting some sun this Spring, I will add in some Warm Gold. For now the Peach alone works pretty well because I 'golden up' the darker I get.

Re: peach foundation
Hahaha...I found out that peach doesn't suit me very well. I guess it is important to buy samples of all 5 of the foundation pigments rather than just getting one (like me on my first order). In the end I'm 1 scoop Warm Gold, 1 scoop Ebony and 10 Scoops Medium Coverage Ivory. Though I did try making a peach concealer (for my undereyes) using sample of heavy coverage ivory. Works alright as long as I super moisturize my eyes. I need to change it a bit since it appears too light under my eyes. It's fun to play around. Hmm..maybe some may even find that mixing all three (peach, warm gold and ebony) in various ratios will work for their face.
