Reddy

The swatch looks really nice, am I detecting bluish hues or that's just my monitor? I'm looking for a coolish red lippie, not as dark and berry as Platinum but not as warm as Hot Blooded (have both). I wonder how this would be compared to those too, could I see a swatch with all the reds together? I'm going after Mac's Russian Red or close to that.

I think it will look fab on you- but if you're shooting for Russian Red- Reddy isn't it. Reddy is more sheer- maybe a little more casual- and has a hint of pearlescent shimmer to it- the actual red is warmer, but the shimmer has cool-toned highlights, and they kind of cancel each other out- it's hard to explain, but it works remarkably well. Note to self..clone Russian Red.

In the next spree then, I do like the swatch a lot (and the periodically changing gwp as well) :) Lately, I have been putting lipstick/gloss on instead of trying to do eyes for work/daytime. I like to play with shadows when I have plenty of time to get ready, but in the morning, every minute counts, and a lippie from my growing collection is just the ticket :) Casual sounds good to me, and I can wait for the SN Russian Red for later.

I don't have Reddy yet, but I did see a swatch by a friend on another forum. Reddy does look a little cooler toned than Hot Blooded in her swatch. I will do a swatch up as soon as I get my hands on Reddy!!! :D
