Reviews for items we didn't purchase

I ran into this a few times - trying to leave a review just to find out I can't because I didn't actually purchase the specific item. I can see the reasoning behind it, but considering all the free goodies we've been getting, be it a LE eye shadow Karen made permanent later on, or free lippies and shadows with the last sprees, etc, it's hard to not being able to rave and lure others in The forum is great, but perhaps potential customers would prefer direct reviews? Just a thought.

I did find that if I bought a sample of a product, I'm only able to leave a review of the product on the sample's page. It would make for better browsing & decision-making experience to be able to consolidate the reviews?

Done! It used to be that way- but some pranksters went in and said some things that just shouldn't be on a web site for nice girls. I'll keep an eye on it but if anyone sees anything untoward the prankster's back.
