Shade of face colour

Post by emblala » Sun Dec 21, 2008 10:59 am

Hi! I've been using theese foundations for a long while now and loves them! Although, I've come to think maybe I'm in the wrong colour? I've been buying ebony and ivory for my very pale skin. Although, I am a bit worried it is a hint of pink in the beige colour? Should I chose something more on the yellow side and which shade is least yellow yet not pink in that case? Thanks so much! :)

Oh! Thanks for the tip. I remember choosing first time, I was afraid of that since i don't tan easy at all.
Do you think the beige tends to go to pink? Or am I on the wrong here?

Ebony is just a little on the cooler side of neutral. That means it might be slightly pink. Warm Gold is on the warm side of neutral. It will be slightly yellow, but not as yellow as Buttery Gold.

Oh, goody! Thank you so much! I'll place an order and get mixing! I guess I could mix the two colours aswell, in case gold is too yellow. I just love this make up - it doesn't get more perfect match.

Happy holidays and thanks for taking the time to help. :)
