Trying to put together a silver quad
Re: Trying to put together a silver quad
Thanks Jen, that's perfect! I can see the finish difference between Rizzo and Idolize, but Idolize seems to work really prettily with Sandy, so I think I just keep using that. But Slate, yes, please

Re: Trying to put together a silver quad
I have to say that Wisdom is lovely as a dry liner (but Slate is similar....kind of reminds me of Tarnish cream liner, too). I have on Sandy and Rizzo with a Wisdom dryline along with Embrace blush and Sugar Plum lippie. I am wearing a berry colored sweater, so it is perfect. I will probably go this route again, but Slate will probably see more 'eye time' than Wisdom at my house.

Re: Trying to put together a silver quad
Question:
Jen, you had previously recommended Slate to me (to use instead of black matte for deepening other shades) and it works great for the intended purpose, very subtle and useful. Now, I am thinking about adding some shimmery silvers to my collection, but I need to use extreme caution with grey and silver - they are not my best colors.
I see the swatches - but I haven't tried very many of the colors pictured. So, can you tell me, how do Silver Lining and Wisdom compare to Slick (which looked atrocious on me)? I like Idolize quite a bit. Rebel is one of my faves but requires careful blending as it's pretty dark on me, but Slick made me look ill. What I really wanna wear is Wild Woman but that will not fly with my pale skin. I like to wear Slate for blending but I don't think I'd wear it on its own. So I'm thinking Wisdom might be a good choice?...
Oh, and Tarnish liner looks good on me, too.
Any thoughts?
EDIT: just ran across Haze; didn't even know it existed (apparently, I live under a rock). Thinking that would be a good non-grey grey.
