Eyeshadow Combination (expert help required^^)

I got a few samples from SN...really great colors...love them...only problem is that i can't seem to successful combine the colors...i am basically new to putting on makeup...

Could you guys help me like combine the colors so that i can use like 2-3 eyeshadow combination, now i usally just use a base all over my lids and put a single eyeshadow.

My skin color: Asian skin type..
My hair/eyes: Black

Oooh you have lots of great combos there! Boom, Sprite, Fire- those are highlight colors- so they tend to go up near your brow bone, or in the inner corner of your eye (or both). Light colors make things appear bigger- so any part of the eye that you want to bring out- that's where a highlight color would go.
Basalt, Bewitched, and Blackheart are all liner colors- Chocolate Twinkle and Mink are to a certain extent as well, but they're a little bit lighter so you could use them anywhere on your eyes where you want the color a little bit deeper. Poly can be fun as a liner too.

Fire & Brimstone are a good combo- start with a little bit of Brimstone in the outer corner- then add Fire to highlight, and then go back in with a little bit more Brimstone anywhere you want it darker. I'd go with either Basalt or Blackheart as a liner color- or more Brimstone applied with a damp brush.

Sprite should go well with Bargain Pink, Disco, and Goldie Gold. Bare, and Luxe make nice one color washes- sometimes I'll add a little something brown in the outer corner when I wear Bare- maybe Sierra?

I'm a bit pressed for time this morning- but there are some really fantastic Youtube videos with a lot of great eye looks that may be worth watching to pick up some tips as well.

Karen pretty much nailed it. I would be figuring out which were highlighters, liners, and midtones, myself before making recommendations.

Liners: Basalt, Bewitched, Chocolate Twinkle, Blackheart, Poly, Sierra

Mid range: Legend, Aztec, Teakie, Luxe, Brimstone, Lurid, Bargain Pink, Disco, Plush, Goldie Gold

Highlighters: Bare, Fire, Boom, Sprite

I usually stick with pretty simple looks. I use the highlight (lightest) colors from crease to brow and sometines in the inner corner of my eye, and the mid colors on my eyelid. The darker colors I use as liners or on the outer corner of my eyelid.

I will throw out some combos. You can skip the liner or not. Bare and Lurid are an all time favorite combo (you could add Blackheart liner). Fire and Brimstone (like Karen recommended) with Basalt liner. Bare and Plush with Bewitched liner. Boom, Luxe and Legend make a great trio, or trade out Legend for Sierra.
