So disaster of disasters! A full bottle of Toner ($30 toner!) leaked in my make up drawer. All of it. Not only is it a bottle of toner gone it's soaked everything in the drawer, which was a lot. Several blushes, powders and eyeshadows ruined, beyond saving. and everything else is very... wet.

BUT..... nothing from Silk Naturals was ruined. :o Yay for well sealed caps and screw top lids! So really i could have been so much worse. Yay!

Oh, D-
That sounds tragic! I have had things leak before, but have not had that kind of product casualties! I am pretty much a frugal product junkie (if there ever could be such a thing), so any losses are sorely missed! Glad to hear the SN 'survived'. ;)

It was sad! And no-one in the real world understood how bad it was! But of course Silk Naturals girls understand me. :D

That's horrible. BUT don't toss those out yet- if you haven't. There's a chance that you could salvage a few of them- depending on what's in the toner, they may dry out and be okay. Water, alcohol, glycerin- shouldn't effect the colors that much- the blushes may be a lost cause, but the shadows could recover.

this thread made me sad before, but now it's even sadder that i'm posting on it :(
i got nectar in my last order, put it on once, loved it...and now i can't find it anywhere. i've looked for 5 days and not a trace of where it could have gone...*sob*
i lose so many things nowadays...too bad my mind was the first thing to go...

I managed to dry out a couple of blushes and an eyeshadow but the rest kinda leaked and mixed together. They were really not well sealed. You were right though karen the toner didn't seem to affect the ones i dried out at all. So not such a disaster in the end.

It will probably turn up when you least expect it packgal, and then it will be a good surprise!
