Found videos on YouTube about the HD cream foundation. Decided I'd try some samples and have been browsing this site for HOURS. Got some stuff in my cart. Swore to myself I'd keep it under $20. I can tell you it's really hard. I am PSYCHED about the lash gel as the reviews are really positive. I do wish there were sample sizes of the eye shadows and lip stuff though. I'm so picky about colour and I hate ordering full size products I haven't tried first as I've often had it not work out.

Samples would be wonderful but they are so expensive to prepare. They're tiny and fussy and take forever to put together. You can't charge enough for samples to make up for the cost of making them, and that really cuts into the bottom line of a small business like SN.
When you consider the low prices for SN's full-sized ES and lippies, and the incredible quality you get for that small amount of money... I can see a company that charges $25 for an ES or lipstick selling samples, but not a company that sells a better quality ES or lippie for only $4.50.
When I get colors that don't quite work for me I usually give them to friends whom they will look good on. They're always delighted and sometimes they become SN customers!

What Shiny said...and it actually works out to be cheaper for you to not get lippie or shadow samples. We'd easily have to charge $1.00 for every one (and lose money), and the one time that we did it people were buying 10-15 at a time, and this was back when we had probably less than 100 colors of eye shadow.
So, you spend $15 for samples, or you get the full sizes and if one doesn't quite work out you spend $1-$2 to send it back.
You get more product for less money, our overhead stays low so we can offer really good prices on full sizes, and we can ship orders fast because we're not dealing with fiddly little samples all day.
It works out better for everyone to just take returns on things you don't like.
