Being sick with the Virus

There is a virus going around my entire state, I think. Everyone I know at school is sick and everyone I know at work is sick, and work and school are a two-hour drive apart from one another. Ridiculous.

I finally came down with the death plague that everybody else has and I'm delirious. I just woke up from a nap and I think those were the most vivid dreams I have ever had. I woke up sweating and hallucinating.

I taught earlier today and I'm pretty sure I was completely incoherent. But I couldn't cancel class cause my pay would be docked. Soooo yeah. My poor students.

So. Wash your hands and take your vitamin C if you haven't already had it. It might be coming to a city near you. I hate cold and flu season!

Sorry to hear you're sick, Zeebs. We have something nasty going around my school as well. Remember - if you pass it to the students, they are only too happy to pass it back. Take care and pamper yourself this weekend. Lauren

I feel like 99% better. I attribute this to (1) getting a ton of sleep, (2) drinking lots of fresh juice and water, (3) New Chapter Organics Host Defense supplements. THEY ARE THE BOMB! I swear by them.
