Liquid wand glosses.
Re: Liquid wand glosses.
I would be over the moon if the liquid glosses became slick stick solids!! I love some of the colors, especially Hubbub, but the liquids don't last as long on my lips and don't make them feel as moisturized. Like someone else mentioned, I've only purchased them for the colors, not the formula! I've also held off on trying some of the newer colors due to concerns about the packaging, so I'd be thrilled to try those in a solid form too!
Re: Liquid wand glosses.
My hope is to have it done by June, and I just updated the quantities of the doe-foot wands to what we have on the shelves.
They may be more moisturizing than the liquids- the ingredients in the liquid gloss vs. the Slick Sticks are similar- in that if you can wear the liquids then the Slick Sticks will work for you too, but they're pretty different recipes. In theory the Vegan Kisser Slickers should be the most moisturizing, but I don't think anyone would agree with that (including me)- it's all very subjective.

Re: Liquid wand glosses.
I've always found the Vegan Kisser Slickers very moisturizing. They seem slicker and softer than the regular ones. I love them for that reason (though I adore the regular KS!).
I did feel that I had to swipe the doe foot glosses a million times to get much color, so I took some scissors and trimmed the plastic stopper inside all my tubes. Now I get way more gloss and color. It does tend to get slightly messy on the wand and occasionally it squishes up to the rim, but I don't mind. I only need one swipe now and the color and formula are fantastic. They seem even more moisturizing than the solids!
I need to try more Slick Sticks, but if switching doesn't seem possible maybe you could use a small tube with maybe a paddle applicator and a wider plastic stopper.

Yes, please don't discontinue the liquid glosses, Karen! The new ones are what has worked the best for me so far, in terms of perfectly even coverage, and they're a lot easier to mix the perfect color. My holy grail is a 2:1 mix of Reflect and Candid. Is there any way to get the new formula and applicator in a smaller package?MBlovesSN wrote:I will say; however, I love love love the gloss formula. It packs enough color onto my lips and lasts a long time, especially for a gloss! Also, I never have that "my gloss is running outside of my lip line" feeling, which I detest. The glosses really work for me, but I do understand they don't work for everybody, especially in the color pay-off department.
Edit: How long is the shelf life? With how much comes in a tube right now, I could probably just stock up on 1 or 2 and be all set. I just don't know how long until they would go bad.

I hated the new formula. It was sickeningly sweet. The original formula was much better.I am very sorry that the original lip glosses and the doefoot applicator which I love is being discontinued . I used it both alone and over the other lipsticks of which I have dozens but i understand Karen has to do what is best for the company.I will just miss that extra gloss.I also look forward to more ALG'S.

I don't believe she's discontinuing the new one, just the old doefoot ones and squeeze tubes, am I right Karen?

Re: Liquid wand glosses.
I'm all for a solid Slick Sticks version of the doefoot glosses. I love the doefoot colors, but I don't grab them as often due to the fact that I can't get as much from one swipe. I love a doefoot applicator, but the brush applicator glosses get more coverage for me. Not a fan of the brushes though. I have a number of colors I like.
