Dupe for Fig Leaf

Post by cristy_amk » Sat Apr 13, 2013 10:23 am

Fig Leaf was a holy grail for me. When it was on the discontinued sale I wish I would of bought a 100 of them! Alas, I was poor so now I'm just down to a tiny nub left and I barely use it trying to make it last forever. Can anyone recommend a good dupe for this color? LOL, or Karen, is there any chance of bringing it back?! TIA!

I am another lover of Fig Leaf. I have kind of moved on to Nectar and Sweet Nothing. Have you tried those? They are a little more reddish, but still close.

I've tried both Nectar and Sweet Nothing and they don't quite compliment my skin tone. I thought Breathless might work? Thanks!

Hi cristy_amk I have tried breathless in the past and found it to be quite pink. For reference I have a light olive complexion. I wasn't a fan of fig leaf as I found it quite dark on me I think had it been a touch ligher I would have really loved it too as I find plums suit my colouring as well however If you like fig leaf you should try Eden, it has plum tones, it is fairly deep as well and has gold shimmer and even a little bronze in tone, Another one you might like is Black Dahlia , its a deeper plum shade with a bit of black. I found it to be a little dramatic but you can apply it lightly and add a little gloss over top and Its actually quite lovely. Eternal vegan lipstick is also a good one to try, its fairly nude but it has some mauve undertones its also creamy and quite opaque like fig leaf and it has no shimmer.

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I'm leaning towards Eternal. I was "this close" to adding it to my cart in my last order but at the last minute took it out :( I just placed an order with the new products out so I'll probably hang in there a bit longer, but I think this will be going in my cart! Thanks again!
