Dark Auburn brow cream?

Post by egerandi » Sat Feb 02, 2013 1:37 pm

I used Auburn brow cream on its own until I realized from photos that it's too light for my face and hair color (copper brown). I've been mixing it with Mahogany liner cream, but it's messy and it's a crapshoot every time I do it to make sure it's not too dark: I'm dragging my liner brush on one then on the other. I just ordered samples of dark and medium brown brow creams, and it looks like the mix of auburn and dark brown is what I need, about 60% auburn and 40% dark brown. Is there a chance to add a darker auburn to the collection for us darker-than strawberry blond red heads? The dark brown in itself just looks a little flat.

If it's not something Karen is considering in the near future, I don't mind playing chemist in my kitchen. What's the best way to mix the samples together without ruining them? I don't have a microwave, but perhaps stick in dehydrator until kinda melty and mix away?
