Need help with first time foundation mix!

Post by bababel » Mon Oct 15, 2012 12:55 pm

Hi ladies!

I just received my foundation sample pack in medium coverage. I have always had a hard time finding a good foundation match so I am hoping this is the answer.

For reference, I'm about NC 15/20 (don't really have a good MAC match), MUFE HD 117, and Revlon ColorStay between Buff and Sand Beige.

I am quite light skinned but with a lot of yellow and olive undertones. Not to mention gross pink splotchiness.

Thank you for your help!

hi bababel, i just found your post and saw that it hasn't been answered yet.
i'm not really acquainted with MAC/Revlon/MUFE references, as i never used any of those brands, but from what i read on this forum, JenW is the expert when it comes to foundation mixes ;)

Ack, I definitely missed this! Sometimes I do get PMs and email messages, too, so I might have answered, just not here. However, in case I did miss it (you have my sincerest apologies), this sounds like an Olive or Buttery Gold. Warm Gold will be too far along in matching the "splotchiness".
