Equalizer

Post by kitten1711 » Tue Oct 23, 2012 5:48 am

Hi,

does anyone know what % zinc oxide & titanium dioxide are in Equalizer?

I usually make a blend of sheer zinc finishing powder combined with green pigment (the one you can add to foundation to adjust the colour) plus a scoop or two of buttery gold (but mainly green :D ) for everyday use but but Equalizer looks colour wise like it might be just right for me.

I particularly like Sheer Zinc for it's high % of zinc oxide (and use this every day in the spring/summer/early autumn) but now I've got 9 month old twins having a product which requires no mixing or time to prepare would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Tracey

That type of question will have to go to Karen. You might want to send an email through the web form.

Wow twins!!! Congrats! It doesn't really have that much in it- just a smidge. During a gloomy winter with twins- personally I'd be tempted to use it anyway, and convince myself I was getting a little Vitamin D.

You could also cut it or sheer it out with the zinc powder if that's easier- the amount of zinc and titanium in the sheer zinc is pretty much overkill.

Thanks for the response Karen - and congratulations on your new arrival as well :)

My melasma flared up quite badly during pregnancy and hasn't gone back to it's previous level as yet, so will stick with the sheer zinc.
