Rosacea skin care advice
I'm wondering what products might be good for very sensitive rosacea prone skin that is somewhat dry? Would the Vitamin C serum be okay on sensitive skin? TIA!

Re: Rosacea skin care advice
I am quite sensitive and prone to redness. While not skincare; I highly recommend trying Equalizer powder.
I was using Clinique Take the Day Off Balm and liked it. I then tried the mineral oil method for cleansing (Jetfan from MUA idea). I would follow with another foaming cleanser, so this really did not work that well for me.
I really like the Apricot Oil cleansing. I don't follow with another cleanser, but maybe some very oily ladies do. It rinses clean and takes off my sunscreen and MMU.
I have also tried most of the serums. I really like Awesome sauce and can use any of the vitamin c serums. I can't use Super Serum and I would be very careful if you sample that one.
I also like Green Tea and Aloe serum. I apply this over vitamin c serum. This is very cost effective for me at under $10.00 for two ounces. I got a green tea serum (highly recommended on the MUA forum) that was over $50.00 for one ounce. While I like the pricier serum; I don't see a huge difference to justify the cost. I probably won't repurchase.
I suggest trying the Equalizer powder (not skincare).
In regards to skin care; Apricot oil cleanser rinses clean. Just three ingredients.
I would try one of the treatment serums either the vitamin C with peptide or Awesome sauce. I like the face lifting serum also but I would try the peptide one first.
You might also want to consider a serum on top for moisture. I like the Green tea one. The Oatmeal one is soothing.

Samples are available on the items mentioned. I believe there is code for 5% off first orders; but I don't remember it. Maybe someone can help there.

Re: Rosacea skin care advice
Another product I recommend for any skin type is the sheer zinc finishing powder. I believe in wearing sunscreen every day. I use this as an extra layer. I also like to apply this over my sunscreen moisturizer on my chest. It helps blur the lines (I am 51) and calm the redness. I don't know why my chest is so sensitive...
Re: Rosacea skin care advice
i would definitely sample before you buy full sizes of anything with actives in it. i don't have particularly sensitive skin but i had a bad reaction to super serum so as autumn said i would be very careful with that one, as well as the facelift serum. i can use the vitamin c and awesome sauce with no problem and the more gentle serums like the green tea, oatmeal and rose wil probably be no problem but again sampling is never a bad idea. i bet the oatmeal would work well for you, i like it a lot and it is listed as the most gentle and the most moisturizing.
if you try a moisturizer i would again pick the formulas without the renovage, etc.

Re: Rosacea skin care advice
I am 44 with mild rosacea and serious sensitivity. But you would never know it because the SN products I use have helped to clear the redness over time (this in addition to dietary changes).
Try these:
Apricot Cleansing Oil (lather gently with cool water after applying, then rinse. Works perfectly.)
Cucumber Eye Cream
Intensive Moisturizer W/ Renovage (FANTASTIC product!)
Zinc Powder
I also use 8% AHA (full strength now, but I had to begin on wet skin about every other day. Exfoliating is important, but I avoid rubbing and scrubbing. AHA is hydrating.)
Awesome Sauce is a great product. I use it under the Intensive every few nights, but I could not do this at first as it was too stimulating.
Oatmeal and Green Tea Serums are fine, but I do not need them.
All the best!
