Matching my Lucy Minerals Foundation Color Help

Post by LaurendH » Wed Feb 15, 2012 1:17 pm

Hi, I ordered many sample kits about a month ago and I had a really hard time trying to come up with the right color. I am quite fair with Rosacea. I currently us Lucy Minerals in 1/2 Cream and 1/2 Pale Olive. I tweak it with Snow White to lighten it a touch. I use the oil control calcium version of foundation and love the coverage - gotta cover the red! The only problem is that it doesn't stay matte and uniform - it slides around and my eyelids feel gummy by noon hour. I have tried many different moisturizers and nothing helps. I think it's time to pull out the SN samples again and figure it out! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lauren.

Just based on your description, I would start with Olive. You might also need Yellow Booster. It might sound easier to go with Buttery Gold, but if you are fair, this route will probably work better.

Olive will likely be 1 scoop color to about 16 white. (16 scoops white is the equivalent to a half teaspoon.) Start here. You might need more white, or the Yellow Booster to adjust, but you should start here.
