isend2y0u-

Can you tell me what you have tried? I would lean Olive or Buttery Gold. Maybe Warm Gold. Definitely not Peach as it goes very pink when it is in the light range. For the possible ratios:
1Buttery Gold:6or 7 white
1Olive:9 -11 white
1Warm Gold:7 or 8 white.

dear jen,

i've never taken the time to learn how to mix the foundation for my own custom shade. i've always mix with other brands of mineral foundation.

i've used OCEANMIST, and i will mix the DANDELION (golden light) with BAMBOO (golden medium). I can also wear SANDSTONE (warm medium), but i thought it look a lil ashy on me when i look at myself in certain light (of course only i notice it).

i am undecided between the 3 base colors buttery gold, olive, and warm gold. let me know if u think adding the yellow booster might help......

here is another photo...... might give u a different perspective
thanks

I would get a sample kit and start with Buttery Gold.....

You do have to make sure you are purchasing colored base and a white base. The kits come with a scoop for mixing, and you just use it like you would a measuring spoon in the kitchen.

thanks for the tips. i

one more question about OLIVE base color. is it predominately for those with neutral undertone??

if i decide to use WARM gold as base color, how will the YELLOW BOOSTER affect the color outcome?

what to do if the foundation shade comes out to be a lil tiny bit grayish tint color on my skin, ?

i have the starter kit, but is kinda hard for me to custom blend to match my own shade.

Olive is neutral on the warm side. Yellow Booster will make Warm Gold more yellow. Test a blend of Warm Gold first on your face and then add yellow if it needs it to match better. Warm Gold plus Yellow is kind of peachy yellow.

You want to match your skin and not the color in the jar of foundation you used previously. Different finishes look very different on skin. Please don't try to match the color in the jar. They also use high speed blenders to blend out the colors, and with ours it kind of continues to mix as you load your brush and as it goes on. Therefore, it might look the same on the face, but not at all similar in the jars.

If you find it too grey, you probably need more yellow. The color also needs to sit on the skin for a bit to blend with your natural oils before you will know what the color will really look like. It takes about 20 minutes to a half hour. It should look light when it first goes on.
