Hmmm, I use both and love them for different purposes. Fanfare is super sheer on me and I only use it for layering - and even then it's mostly for the softening effect rather than actual colour adjustment. Allure I can use as a standalone colour in a pinch, though I prefer to dab on a bit of Beguile first to give my lips more colour. Fanfare is also more of a true, clear light peach while Allure is just a smidge closer to 'medium' depth and murkier. Does that help? They are fairly similar, just maybe not to peach-obsessed me :P

I agree about Fanfare, it is sheer. I love using it to warm up other colors or just to warm up my own lip color.
Do you happen to have Enage too? If so, do you notice any difference on your lips between it and Beguile? Beguile (got a sample w/ my last order) is close to my lip color (it's a bit lighter and less red). I was debating between the 2 for a natural yet more put together look.
