Ruby Woo!

I would just about die if you could possibly dupe MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick.

It is just as bright as your Russian Red, but with the opposite undertone It is also on the matte side, and it would be great if you could do something that was a bit semi-matte.

Hopeful thanks in advance?

From that swatch, it almost looks like Cherise, but of course it's different finish and texture. But the color...
I always wondered why there isn't many matte natural lippies? Is it difficult to make it matte with all the natural goodness in them?

I'll take a look at it the next time I'm at the counter. I remember seeing someone look fabulous in that shade, but I can't remember where or when- I have just an odd snipit of a mental note.

Natural mattes are limited because the color palette is really limited- there aren't a whole lot of matte tones available, and the ones that are available are mostly really earthy/brick colors. That, and the batch-to-batch color matching on mattes can be EVIL some days. Most of the time I like the challenge :)

Thanks Karen! :)
It is my favourite shade to wear, and I love your dupe of Russian Red, so I know even if you managed to match the colour, but not how matte it is --- it would still be AWESOME!
