How do I know if I am warm gold or buttery gold? What is the differance? Is ther any peach in me?

Yes, I do think you have a little peach, but some yellow and warmth, too. I really think you will be more of a Warm than a Buttery. It is hard to tell from pictures online due to your screen settings and how they differ from mine. I really recommend trying them both. Based upon the colors your wear in EDM, you will be more of a Buttery, but based upon your pic, I am leaning Warm.

The basic difference between them is the amount of yellow.

I just got my order and so far am very pleased. I am mixing up my foundation and as tizzylou suggested I am trying 6 to 1 (3 actually 3 to 1/2). Only thing is it looks very light. Is that to be expected? I did used the mixture and it looks OK but not sure it is right for me. Suggestions?

It really takes quite a bit of shaking to mix well, and it will continue to mix as you put it on with your brush. Going by the look in the jar is tricky with any mineral makeup. Things always look a little different on skin. The beauty of this foundation is that you can always add more color if you feel it needs it. Let us know how it goes for you!

OK, so what should I start with for a recipe? 6 to 1 (or 3 to .5)?

Yes. Your starting point sounds about right. It is a little tricky to measure a half, but if you are willing to give it a go, why not?

My suggesting is to test often. I tested between just about each addition once I got within a few shades of what I though would be correct.
