Chunky glitter in cupcake

Post by kookith » Thu Apr 07, 2011 9:29 pm

I just tried Cupcake (the e/s.. lol) yesterday. I used the primer, then patted on the e/s, then blended out the edges and it kinda hurt. It felt very scratchy on my eyelids, and in the evening when I removed my e/s, my eyelids stung and were slightly red.

I've never encountered anything like this before. Has anyone else experienced this, or did I just get an off-jar? I'm really bummed though, it's so damn pretty! I really, really love it. :(

For reference, I don't have any skin issues or allergies. I can put anything on my face without having to do a patch test.
Who says a chick can't love make up and World of Warcraft at the same time? :D

Ouch- I'm sorry! It's the calcium aluminum borosilicate glitter- nice stuff because it's natural and eye safe, but yes, it's gritty. I haven't had an issue with it, but if your lids are sensitive you probably will feel it more than our other colors.
