New Changes to the site...

I think the gray wash was a good idea! I couldn't decide yesterday if it was too bright because it was in contrast to the previous color scheme, or if it was just too bright! It is definitely easier on the eyes now. Thank you!

Yea the gray wash has definitely made it better on the eyes! The white was a little too bright. This might be just me, but I had a hard time at first finding 'View New Posts'. Other than that it looks good!

Love the new look; not too bright for me! Here's hoping you feel better soon... Hubby and I had the stomach bug about a month ago and it took a week to feel 100%.

Ok, here comes the not-so-happy part...
I don't mean to be a killjoy, but the new background is hard on my eyes
I already use the brightness about 2/3 on my laptop as my eyes are sensitive, and now I have to turn it even lower to about 1/2 to reduce the white glare from the forum. I do love to spend time here, but it's really hard for me to read it as is right now.
Would it be possible to change the background a bit more?

Thanks! Constructive criticism is always helpful. Is it the teal background, or the background on the text part that's too bright??

It's the background behind the text. What I noticed is when I mouse over every other post, their background becomes somewhat darker. I found that tone easy on my eyes

Not sure what it is (brightness?), but I get a headache when I am on the new forum setup. Not a surprise b/c so many things trigger a headache for me.
