MAC Notoriety dupe

Last fall, mac had a fabulous felines collection. I got the leopard lux quad, which I really like, except the "notoriety" (velvet) color stinks. It is supposed to be a dirty brown with gold pearl, but the gold pearl never shows up. It has the potential to be really cool, but it's not. I bet you could do the rest of the quad better too. It includes wild by Nature (matte mid-tone camel), furiously fabulous (velux pearl dark brown/black), and style predator (velux pearl gold-shimmered medium orange).

Trax is another cool mac e/s. it is a burgundy-plum with bronze pearl and a velvet finish.

The problem with some of these mac e/s with the pearl is that by the time that you have enough of it packed on, so that you can see the pearl, you end up looking like you got hit in the eye. Not the look I was going for.
