Eyeshadow similar to Envy Cream Liner
Title says it all
I tried Envy for the first time yesterday and I love how it looks with dark brown eyes. What would the eyeshadow equivalent be?

Re: Eyeshadow similar to Envy Cream Liner
I just got a sample of it, and on my eye lids it looks like an olive gold. I would say Bling or Gargle Blaster may be the closest.

Thanks ladies! I want all of those shadows now. Are there subtle differences between Bling and Gator Gold?

Bling is a goldy-olive, Gator Green is more of a greeny-gold. In my opinion, Bling is a little lighter in color, but don't be worried that Gator Green is too dark. It's not as dark as the website description makes it out to be.
Bling is a little more neutral in color, so it goes with everything. Gator Gold definiately reads *green*, so it might not be as neutral.
I love them both. My eyes are hazel, and both of them work perfectly for me. I think they are different enough to justify buying them both.
Sorry for the enabling........

I love envy, I will have to try a few of the colors mentioned. Another color that looks great w/ dark brown eyes is Aubergine (dark plum). I tend to stay w/ boring browns, but this looks great w/o screaming PLUM.kinjali22 wrote:Title says it all I tried Envy for the first time yesterday and I love how it looks with dark brown eyes. Gator Gold is a more saturated color than Bling. Bling appears lighter and more golden/tan while Gator Gold appears to be a medium shade that is greener.
Bling looks like a gold coin to me while Gator Gold looks like the green kind of Black Hills gold.
Yes, they are different enough to own both if you like wearing gold. If you aren't into gold, you wouldn't "need" both IMO.
