Trainer,
Thanks for pointing out the shea butter!! I have an allergy to latex (mild, only occurs w/ consistent use), I always check for it in skincare, but not lip care (My facial skin also reacts to TD, but my lips don't).
I've used Smooth and Full off and on for months, but started using it daily for a week and over night my lips got HUGE. They looked like I had them injected, the downside was they burned and itched for days (it was very painful). My facial skin was a lumpy, bumpy, red mess for months when I was using skincare products w/ shea butter!!!
Do you have any food allergies? Shea butter allergies are very closely connected to tree nut allergies.
You mentioned TD, is that titanium dioxide? My son use to be allergic to that, he can tolerate it now in skin care.
Allergies are nasty things, aren't they? You have to be super vigilant! I'm sorry about the reaction you had to the lippie! Did you try taking a little Benadryl to relieve the reddness and swelling?
I thought it was fantastic that Karen changed the formula so quickly, once she was aware of the problem shea butter can pose. Just another reason I'm a loyal customer!
