Sizzle on hazel eyes?

Well the title says it all. Do you think Sizzle would work on hazel eyes?

Yes! It totally works with hazel eyes (or at least my hazel eyes) the gold picks up the gold tones in hazel eyes, and it works nicely. The only thing is that it's pretty warm. I can pull it off if I blend it out the right way, but on some days it's a touch warm for my pink skin.

oh that's good news, I need warm :) I was mostly worried that the blue might clash with the olive in my eyes, but then again I can wear TGIF which is very blue/teal so I don't know why it would. Sizzle looks so beautiful, and after superwahz's FOTD I may have to (once again) break my no-buy. Ugh. As if I don't have enough eye shadows already.... but I don't have Sizzle...

Um, actually, my eyes lean towards hazel! They change blue/green/grey/golden depending on clothes/makeup or my mood. They looked very blue when I was younger, but in the last 5 years they have shifted towards green a bit more. I think maybe because I'm wearing warmer colors on my skin (since I realized the reason most makeup looked odd on me was because I wasn't the cool tone every makeup counter girl thought I was!). I can't wear blue shadows by themselves usually, they make my eyes look muddy. But Sizzle has enough teal and gold to work, especially paired with another shadow. :D

If you PM me your address, I'd be happy to send you a sample...ya know...to preserve your no-buy temporarily.

I am similar, my eyes are more grey green with yellow around the pupil (no brown at all, so not hazel, just a weird nondescript colour, lol), and I can't wear straight blues usually (they clash with the yellow unless I work really hard pairing them with something gold or pink or peach) and I ♥ sizzle. It is such a gorgeous unique colour!

Lily, your eyes sound exactly like mine. What do you wear Sizzle with?

I have definitely worn it with goldie gold inner half, sizzle outer half, film noir liner. That is the only combo I can remember. I am thinking of wearing it with bare though, that might be pretty. I just discovered bare (for some reason I had it but had never even opened it - I obviously have too many eyeshadows  )

Oooo, I was drooling over the swatch of Goldie Gold the other day. I'm assuming it was d/c'ed a while back though, since it's no longer on the site! How do you think Bare compares with, say, Quartzite? Is it pink at all?

 I recently ordered samples of something I already have 2 samples of...and ended up with a f/s Earth, then realized I already have it and wasn't thrilled with it to begin with! That's what I get for having things scattered everywhere. :P

I had a sample of Quartzite and a F/S Bare, and neither of them has pink in it. Bare is more of a light and warm champagne color, lighter then Quartzite. Unfortunately, it didn't work for my complexion, but my girlfriend is really happy with it (she has a bit more warmer skin tone).
