Long week... lol

I started my cocktail serving job last week! Not difficult, like it ok, but man my feet hurt! lol. I bruised my big toenails so they'll be in pain for awhile. Been through 4 pairs of shoes! lol. The tips...the tips are worth it. My tips for thursday-tuesday (though i will normally work friday-tuesday) were $850. I get paid a base rate of $5.13/hr (~200/week) and all of my taxes (tips included) come out of that. Not bad huh?

I'm still waiting to find out what's going to happen with human resources (my sister is my boss- several levels up but still my boss- which was approved by HR before she hired both me and my sister- but then someone whined and HR is trying to take it back. yada yada yada. My sister is up for a promotion which would change everything, etc.)

My boyfriend came out to interview for jobs and bring his stuff and we've been moving into our apt. Busy week. Lots of fun.

Not bad at all! No doubt you've earned it though- waitressing isn't an easy job, but it gives you a good excuse to go shoe shopping!

Glad to hear things are lively, Sam! As a cocktail server, bet you're wearing heels & suffering (yikes!). Lots of tips, though! AND the cuter you are the better the tips,lol, so you'll be rolling in the dough.
