Soooo embarrassing....

Yesterday our neighbors came over and told us they'd like to do an easter egg hunt in the evening (in our shared yard) and would that be ok. We said yes of course, we were going to be at work anyway. I went to work at 4, sometime after that they hid their eggs and around 4:45 DH let the dog out to pee, he didn't see any eggs in the yard- apparently one toddler was bragging about how good she was at finding easter eggs and they hid them really well. He comes back to let her in and she has a neat little pile of opened easter eggs and candy wrappers by the door. He had to refill and rehide them all before going to work in half hour. Honey didn't get sick which i am grateful for, but how embarrassing! Maybe next year we'll give her an egg hunt with dog treat and hard-boileds

Happy Easter everyone :)
At least your dh found them Sam! Imagine if he hadn't realised until the kids had started hunting
It is Easter monday here, we had a nice little hunt with the girls yesterday (my dh does clues, written for the 6 year old, pictures for the 2 year old, and they find a big egg at the end of the hunt). We also decorated eggs and ate a lot of scrambled eggs from our hens!

Oh no! I think last week was "you won't believe what the dog ate" week. I'm glad to hear that Honey is okay, and what a sweet hubby! Suzie got into some chocolate on Tuesday (she's fine too), and when I called the Vet he was busy dealing with another dog who had eaten something.
