Orange lippie?

Post by meheeeen » Thu Mar 18, 2010 1:35 am

I really want a quite orange lip color, gloss or stick, doesn't matter to me, as long as it has a good amount of pigment. I want a dramatic orange, not coral, not red, but just orange! It might sound strange but I think I could pull it off.
Would anyone else want this? If it's not a popular idea I could settle for a really oranged red.

Ooh that's very Grace Kelly! That was her beauty signature colour. I can't pull off orange myself, but on her, it looked magnificent and I'm sure that it would be popular - especially with the warmer months ahead.

(Doesn't she look as bit like our Oxana - truly beautiful).

You might like to have a look at verve - looks very similar to the Grace Kelly pic ;)

That's the color verve turns on me--very vibrant and pretty. I actually read a few days ago that orange lipcolor is supposed to be "in" now.

I also think tempation could work. You know how colors look different on everyone! ;)

I've never used an orange lipstick, but I used to have a bright orange lip gloss that looked so fresh and summery! I think it was part of L'oreal's lip gloss line one summer years ago. Looked scary in the tube but gave my lips that 'stained by a popsicle' look...contrasted so nicely with my blue eyes, I adored it!

I have Verve on my wishlist since it looks to me like it has the potential to be more orange than red...now just waiting for next week to order it (gotta stagger out those orders now that the MAC is finished! )

I would like a sheer orange, not an opaque lipstick like one though, I think that would look weird on me

I don't have a color to add, I'm sorry, but I have to agree Oxana looks a lot like Grace Kelly. It's uncanny.

Temptation is currently one of my lovely colours that I use regularly to pep up the face with minimal makeup. it also really defines my lips very, very well. I simply love it.

Looks like I'll need to get Verve too =)

I look like Grace Kelly? Well thanks ladies, she looks lovely. Maybe I should wear orange lippies.
I have not gotten that before, but people have said I look like Kelly Clarkson....

Some of us are old enough to remember Grace Kelly and not know Kelly Clarkson ;) But either way, you're blessed with a touch of that same timeless beauty.
