SN always looks fantastic in photos,my boyfriend doesn't allow me to wear anything else when we go out for pictures. He's into photography,so he's exceptionally picky.

I didn't wear SN foundation but I did do my own makeup with whatever I had lying around the house - nothing special. I had a good pro photographer and all the pics came out fine. I have had trouble with EDM in photos but SN has always been fine. IDK how either of those would perform on wedding day cause I used Clinique stuff back then.

Let us know how it goes.

Sorry, I just now noticed this part. No, I don't think those colors would be too shimmery. They're quite lovely :) and besides, there's never anything wrong with a little bit of sparkle around the eyes. ;)

My biggest problem actually is that makeup barely ever shows up in any of my pictures unless I apply it super dark/thick and dramatic - and I would rather not look like a clown in person on my wedding day, so I'll just have to deal with it looking light in the pictures.

By the way, congratulations! You must be excited.

My fiance and I are getting married in September too! We just did our engagement photos last weekend. I'm wearing Alima Black Cherry, which is basically a sparkly deep plum version of Burnished and you can hardly even see it.

The second picture was in direct sun rays so probably along a similar lines as to what a flashbulb would do. The rest is more a matter of if you're worried about being shiny.

congratulations-your photos are lovely. September seemed ages ago when we got engaged at Christmas, but it's coming round at quite a rate now!

And thanks for all the responses!

My gut feeling is that as I'm pretty pale anyway, there's probably a limit as to how 'ghostly' I'll actually look! Plus, given that SN is the only foundation that I've ever found to match my skin tone, my options are 1) potentially pale if SN does ghost in the photos or 2) orange if I used a liquid foundation from a high street store.

Next step will be playing around with lippies (dark enough to show in the photos, but light enough to look natural on me-Breathless or Soft spring to mind?) and then blush...have been hunting around and it looks like I probably can't go far wrong with maybe baby or climax. I feel a sample splurge oncoming.

Thanks again guys

For a long, special day like a wedding, you might want to consider a long wearing lip paint. The kind where the color stays true all day long, but you have to reapply gloss over the top. You really want a consistent lip color for that kind of day, and the tradeoff for using a non-natural product for one day will be worth it.

I don't think you will have problems with the makeup ghosting. You could always have a photo test done if you were concerned.
