I was wondering this morning if it would be possible to mix powder foundation and moisturizer (like the hemp, the jojoba or the daily defense) to make a tinted moisturizer/liquid foundation?
Or is that the heck of a bad idea?
Making your own tinted moisturizer?
Re: Making your own tinted moisturizer?
I know with regular emulsified moisturizers it is not a good idea to premix......the moisturizer separates. If you give it a try....start small, like two days worth and see what happens. And mixing everyday as you put it on works.

Re: Making your own tinted moisturizer?
I was just thinking abt this a few days ago. If there is going to be a mix what will the ratio be for the moisturiser and the foundation. Thanks
Re: Making your own tinted moisturizer?
I don't know the ratio...you will have to experiment. I only tried to add foundation to my moisturizer once with bad results......meaning I mixed too much and lost a good portion of my eye cream....
Start in small amounts is about the best advice I can give.

Re: Making your own tinted moisturizer?
Thanks Jen for the reply. I was doing it little with both mix, tot if I cld mix it and keep it for a few days use. I will try and experiment..guess the moisturiser must not be too much if not it will be too oily on the face.
