I'm messing around with the site...

Post by karen » Wed Feb 03, 2010 11:43 pm

Hi,
I'm messing around with a whole bunch of things on the site. Right now I'm trying to switch it around so you don't have to hunt for samples. Everything will be on the main product page, and there will be a drop-down where you just select the size you want. It's taking ages, but I think it's worth it. Pretty much just ignore the site until late tomorrow and we'll be fine...if you order anything with a sample at the moment the site will charge you double.

That's really great, it will be convenient for sure to have the samples on the same page :)
Does this mean the Valentine's collection is not coming today, but will be here late tomorrow? Thanks!

I'm working on it right now...hopefully it will be up before 8:00 tonight- eastern time. If y'all could stalk my blog rather than the main page that would be good- it makes the loading go faster on this end.

Kaen - I just wanted to say I really like the new look of the site! The pink background, the pics on the home page & I LOVE having samples on the same page as the full sizes. Thanks for all the hard work you do for us!!

Karen, I sent you a PM regarding some functionality issues. And yeah, loving how the navigation is so much more concise!

Eeep...I don't have a PM from you. I do have an email from you that I need to ponder- DH has been fixing their FTP and email server all weekend, so I've been trying not to add too much to his workload for the moment.

I did! Right now if it's not in the gmail account it has a tendency to slip off my radar, but yes- we're working on a solution.

As the cart stands right now if you had an item in your cart before the switch, it comes up as $0.00 as a price. Just remove the item from your cart and add it back in and that should work.

Is it possible to send an email? That is really the best way to contact her. She monitors the website email box very regularly, but less so with the forum PMs.
