The ones I like right now are Maybelline Full n Soft for an everyday look, I like it in brownish black because it matches the exact color of my lashes. For a black 'dramatic' mascara I love Clinique Lash Doubling.

Unfortunately both are probably tested on animals or have bad ingredients :(

But, I found to make both not clump, washing the wand off after every 5 or so uses prevents clumping entirely because there's no icky dried buildup on the wand. Maybe this is something everyone but me knew but I thought I'd share.

I'll have to give these a go!I'm terrible with mascaras. Picked up the Rimmel Sexy Curves when I was in Tesco because I neeeeeeded mascara, and it's not too bad, but I don't really get the brush :S I've heard good things about full n soft but have never seen it here

Hi Sarah, I have 2 mascara faves. I interchange them, depending on my needs for the day.

1. L'oreal Lash Extend Beauty Tubes.....gives big, long, black, va, va, voomy lashes that are basically indestructible. They wash off easily with just warm water, but wear like iron. It's kind of a pain to use; there is a primer, and then the mascara, but it's great.

2. Maybelline Lash Stiletto Volumpulous.......gives nice, thick, black, almost fake lashes. Doesn't wear all that well, but easier to use than the l'oreal one. This is my usual daily mascara.

HTH.

There cannot be a crisis until next week. My schedule is already full.

I agree-the brush for the Rimmel Sexy Curves takes some practice. I tried another by Rimmel and the brush was like a hairbrush for a Barbie doll. I could not use it!

Yeah I tried that one too it was blooming awful! Its a shame cause their formulas are pretty good! Laurie it looks like I'm going to have to get that lash stiletto one! I don't mind dong the primer thing first but I've seen people with weird white patches and in the morning I'm just not with it enough to make sure I'm not looking surprised from certain angles hehe!

Thanks for all your help girlies, I have me a list!

Oooh Sewwies,

I forgot to mention that like Ghost, I have also tried & love the SN mascara - in fact I **think** the Maybelline Lash Stiletto I recommended was as a replacement for it when I needed a new mascara quickly.

The SN one gives lovely lush glossy lashes, maybe not as full-on as some of the ones you can get in Boots but an 'enhanced yet natural' look, if that makes any sense :? . If Lash Stiletto was your going out mascara, SN would be your go-to every day one. Plus it's got less chemicals etc which can only be a good thing that close to your eyes.
